I was struck by the gravity of emotional waves that came into play while watching this video, while the video was on my family was in the kitchen; the way they moved, the way they talked, I realized how important it is to me to look up from my computer and see them. During the last few weeks I have become more attuned to the tethers that gratitude has on our humanity. I have been going through some trying times, but I see the faces of the ones in my corner and I always feel the desire to show them through my actions, how great full I am for them. The results in this video are parallel to what my summer English class’ material has stated; Increased well-being and expressing joy are by-products of gratitude, and that experiencing gratitude can help highlight ways you can be help full to, or show love towards those special people.

This video was so wonderful. When the students pulled out their phones and then looked at the camera and asked things like "are you serious?" "do I really have to do this" because they were embarrassed about being so forwardly nice to the people they wrote about. It was so nice to see how much most of them smiled reading the letters to the people.
