- Say what!?! I still cannot believe it. We have been trying for over a year and it has FINALLY happened lol. These first few weeks have been a roller coaster of emotions: everything from excitement to fear. When I started bleeding at 5.5 week, I was terrified I was having a miscarriage. Fortunately, the baby is ok and I was diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma/hemorrhage. It is SCARY to bleed so heavily during pregnancy so I wanted to share my story for anyone else who has, or who may in the future, experience pregnancy bleeding. Bleeding does not always mean a miscarriage. But you should ALWAYS contact your doctor ASAP if you have any bleeding during pregnancy.
I am also apparently "old" now. Whatever "advanced maternal age" and "geriatric pregnancy" is - that is me I guess lol. I certainly don't feel all that old! I have even had OBGYN practices refuse to see me because of my age. What in the world???

Congratulations! I'm a momma to 8 my youngest is 5 and I had him at 40. You are not old at all. If you were able to get pregnant naturally then you are not too old. I pray for a joyful healthy pregnancy for you.

My daughter got pregnant with her first at 33..i was amazed the doctors considered it a higher risk pregnancy because of her age.
in her first trimester she called me scared because she was spotting and one day in her first trimester she said she felt like she had passed something vaginally into the toilet but couldnt tell what it was.
She/we had scares but July 2nd, 2020 my 9lb beautiful grandson was born.

Very happy for you! Sending positive thoughts and prayers to you and baby! My mom was 5’8” 126lb, and lost 20lb the first trimester of all 4 of her pregnancies. Nauseous, vomiting, and food aversions just caused the loss. She also experienced spotting during the first trimester of all her pregnancies. 🤞🤞🤞 All of us were fine!

Congratulations!! I had bleeding with my last pregnancy too. It was 11 years ago but I think it was the same thing. Mine was a quick gush and not much else but everything was fine and that's when I found out I was having twins. I was also 36 when I had them. It was an uneventful pregnancy and I even carried them to full term. Best of luck to you! That's so exciting!

Congratulations! My mom was 38 when she had me. I think 36 is still young and I hope you find the right doctor soon. I cannot believe some of the doctors did not want to see you. I know when I was in my forties my doctor told me I could still have children. I was healthy enough. I said no. Lol I am done with that part of my life.
I am 5 weeks and had bleeding yesterday and today and this video gave me some piece of mind until I can get into my doctor. thank you for this ❤

Literally explained my whole pregnancy/ situation from beginning to end! It’s so weird literally to the T!! I even take the gummies too . 29 and 16 weeks now it’s scary but don’t worry it’ll get better .I suggest getting a Doppler monitor like off of Amazon my doctor showed me how to use it correctly & it helps ease my mind when I can check the babies heart beat from home. Congratulations to you and your family. Yes I had that with my first babe , very concerning but she was born beautiful and healthy. I had my last babe at 37 , apparently I was geriatric!! Lol. Anyway, my hormones were super high for her . She is the youngest by 9 yrs , super spoiled and loved by her big siblings. Very special. You have made sure your body was healthy and strong before you became pregnant and thats exactly why , first months can be challenging food wise . I also show super early. Show it off and be proud that you are growing a beautiful baby . 💜💜

So glad I found your video, I am busy going through the same thing and still some spotting after a week. We were honestly convinced we were misscarring and when we saw the heart beat we were so shocked and happy. We have been trying 6 months and I'm 31. It's my first pregnancy.

Thanks for the video. I am also 6 weeks and 4 days. I started sporting Brown blood Tuesday. I went to ED they said all looks good baby had a heartbeat. My OB doesn't want to see me until Monday. I am just taking it easy till Monday and hopeful they can see where the bleeding coming from

I had bleeding due to eating pineapple and papaya..
I spotted due to other foods that contain Bromalain.. like avocado and mangos .
If anyone out there is bleeding.. try reminding Bromalain from you diet..

I am glad you think I am young too! Most of the nurses in the ER were all in their mid-30s+ and we all had a good time making fun of ourselves lol.

Hi! Iam experiencing almost the same as what you experienced, Iam 36 same age as yours, I was diagnosed at first of ectopic pregancy which I was transvaginal ultrasound also by an intern, but it was just early detection of my pregancy...I went to different OB GYN last week they found my baby no heartbeat yet Iam 5 weeks 6 days that time,through ultrasound in the stomach since they didnt find my baby through transvaginal after a day Iam still having bleeding for 3 days now, Iam very Upset because I cannot focus on my life and my first born I am very stressed out l, same with you I kept watching videos with the same situation I have... i hope and pray that my baby will push through😊

I’m currently living in Australia and its crazy that ob gyne as well in here refuses to help women to get pregnant, and they would casually would say you’re going to get miscarriage they don’t believe in trying to save the baby. In Philippines OB gyne its their pride and joy to help women to get pregnant or save babies from miscarriage as far as they can.
In German is happening the same ! In Greece they always want to Help 😢! I hope you find a helpfull Dr. 😊

Im 7+7 and trust me it stress me so much that i may have an miscarriage but my OB placed me on bed rest n im to do another ultrasound next week when id be 8wks so im just praying all is well with my baby....

Mostly light pink. 2 or 3 times bright red. Some light bleeding in the day, but not at night. I have some mild cramps. Never needed a panty liner. Just a wipe once in a while. I normally have heavy periods that knock me out for the first 2 days of major pain... I don't know if this is implantation bleeding or my lightest period ever. The 2x I had red was in the mornings. I hope I am pregnant. This is so stressful

I had a large sub chorionic hemorrhage (at 12weeks) and my belly went from looking 24weeks pregnant.. to looking like a standard 12 wk belly- pretty much not pregnant looking at all.
I have crazy pictures of it that I wish I could show you.
So I would bet it’s fluid accumulation. Mine was. First pregnancy.
That is so interesting! I never considered the bleeding being the cause of the bloated belly. But it makes sense!
I started bleeding yesterday and later during the day I became bloated.
I really hope that’s the case for me, I had a gush of fluid/blood when I went to the toilet this morning (7 weeks)… as well as severe cramping in the last few days and some spotting.
I’m paying for an ultrasound today to see if the baby is alive or not. This is so stressful.
Is speculum examination safe? Cos they did that to me today when I went in for bleeding. And they bleeding got heavier after the vaginal examination with the speculum. I'm super worried.
I had a heavy bleeding also, then I found out I was pregnant. I just ended up my period for about 2 week and I’m pregnant, that’s so weird. Then I went to do virginal ultrasound but the doctor saw nothing in my uterus. I did blood work and my HCG level is 211.1 mIU/ml. I don’t know if I miscarried or etopic pregnancy. I’m worried and stressful a lot. 😢
This had happened to me b4 n was told I had ectopic and they would have to give me something since fetus could not be found and hcg not going up ....but I later miscarriage came on its own .... I pray ur case is different... God is great ....keep strong n pray 🙏 🤲 🕍

I cannot remember exactly, but in the normal to high range.
I am sure if you were wealthy and high risk there would not be a problem for a doctor seeing you.
