This was actually done in 1988 and he had to get permission special permission to do the video because this was actually made in a military school in Mexico. He actually had to live as if he was actually serving in the military. The hair cutting scene was obligated to attend the school. At first he disagreed to cut his hair because that was his style and his signature hairstyle at the time. But if he didn’t cut his hair, he wouldn’t be allowed to shoot the video. Most if not all of the stunts were real. He was very dedicated and professional to make this video happen. This was one of the first big productions done in Mexico. The song was named the biggest Spanish song of the 80s. The song has over 1 billion streams across all platforms and it’s one of the most streamed 80s songs of all time. prefiero la del estudio, en vivo se queda tarareando sin cantar toda la canción y bueno puedo entender que hace conciertos de más de 1 hora y la voz no da para más.
Lo que es la ignorancia de la gente, ese tarareo se llama improvisación y también demuestra que no es cualquier cantante porque no desafina ni una sola nota, ese en vivo es de las mejores presentaciones de la incondicional.

I first found out about Luis Miguel while watching the movie Speechless in the early 90s and although I didn’t know Spanish I was amazed at his voice. Fast forward to today, I have 10+ albums of his, saw him in concert thrice, and my wife and I will be seeing him every time he comes back to Dallas now that we live here. Luis Miguel is without a doubt my favorite singer!! Thanks for the react vid and please do more of LuisMi!! Some more options are La Bikina, No Se Tu, Hasta Que Me Olvides, Por Debajo De La Mesa, Amarte Es Un Placer, Me Niego A Estar Solo, Suave, Suena, and Hasta El Fin. Most of your subscribers have no idea that they just watched a legend who’s known as the Sun of Mexico. He’s a once in a generation talent and you need to check him out more. He’s been singing since he was 10 and his vocals are still amazingly strong. If you ever get a chance to see him in concert, don’t think, just go!

Behold the greatest Spanish-speaking singer of the last 40 years, el "El Sol de Mexico" ! When the musical Latin crossover exploded in the late 90's and early 2000's, led primarily by Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias, that was cool and all buuut for us Spanish speakers, Luis Miguel was truly THE ONE we were all anticipating to do the cross-over simply because he's the best talent of his generation. His cross-over never happened, not because the opportunity never came, but because he once famously said that if the world wanted to listen to him, it would have to be in our language, in Spanish; a true ambassador of the Spanish Speaking world. By the way, this video was done in 1989. The best way to describe him, is if you combine Fredy Mercury's vocal range + Elvis Presley's charisma + Frank Sinatra's elegant stage presence = you get Luis Miguel.

Actually the song is from the 80ies and has a lot of story behind it. He wanted to shoot a video with the military but they didn't allow it. So he made a deal to undergo training to be able to make the video. And that's what you are seeing and the story. They actually made a Netflix serie about Luis Miguels life.
