    may I know which material balances formulae did you use for the distillation function on matlab? Also, can I change the column environment for my own unit? thank you i advanced.

      It is the MESH (Mass, Energy, Species, Holdup) equations but without the energy balance. Here is more information on the distillation column: apmonitor.com/wiki/index.php/Apps/DistillationColumn

    Hi I would also like to ask how the excel file was made and if the data from those file were transferred to the matlab and how?

    please do really this study with the Riser of Fluid Catalytic Cracking

      I don't have data or a model for the riser of an FCC. Here is an application that is close to the FCC: apmonitor.com/dde/index.php/Main/FiredHeaterSimulation but it uses MPC.
