Love the fact that you are so open and honest about the kids getting treats , everything in moderation is a great motto
I agree. Denying kids treats just means they will get it elsewhere when you are not around. Either at school or a friends or somewhere. Treats can be a part of the diet.
That reminds me of The Brady Bunch
I'm guessing don't never go to Disneyland
She has nothing but junk food
You all prolly dont care but does anybody know of a tool to log back into an instagram account??
I somehow forgot my account password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me.
For your deli meats, you would be best off checking on the deli section as they would be cheaper in the bulk section for the most part. You can also freeze and then pull it out and buy kgs on sale of the different meats you like. :)
I love it when you show the shops there in Australia and what you buy. Thank you for your videos Because they really help during this time of lockdown.
This is the only Aussie Vlogger that I subscribe so far, was able to watch your beautiful daughter’s wedding before. That was so lovely! 🌺
I spent several of my younger years in Australia (my dad is Australian but my mum is American); your shops always make me hungry for biscuits and lollies and such we can't get in America!!!!!
I love the way you preach about not wasting food. I am constantly amazed and saddened when I see how much food so many people throw out all of the time. I volunteer one Sunday a month at a local homeless shelter, and many of us bring food. We feed between 50-100 people, and provide a main dish, a meatless dish, and so on. If people could see how many people in this country are starving, they would think twice before just tossing food that can be used in another way.
I feel the same about food - really sad to see how some people have no regard for it...
I really enjoy your grocery hauls. I am from the UK 🇬🇧 , and it's very interesting to see what there is to buy in Australia 🙂
I am from the US and love to see what other countries buy.

I heard people are panicking again and Bless everyone’s hearts. I hope y’all stay safe. God Bless
Here's a tip for you. l used to live in Arizona. I would take foam coolers with me to the supermarket and put frozen foods and ice cream in them. It worked wonders when it was 100 plus degrees out there! I still do it here in Missouri in the summer. Really helps keep that ice cream frozen!
I currently have to shop at least twice per week for our family of 6 here in the US due to limits on so many things. I normally do a monthly big shop and then buy fruit and fresh veg on a smaller trip when needed. The limits are bad enough but we also get rude stares when trying to do a monthly shop here. You must have much kinder understanding people where you live! 💜 I enjoy watching your hauls!! ☺️
What sauce do you put with the macaroni? Would love to see meal plan or week of dinners or meal prep
I really appreciate the explanations on the foods and different names .
I’m praying you all all ok with this latest lockdown in Brisbane , Queensland area. I’m in Western Australia 🇦🇺. Stay safe gorgeous family.
Stay safe all of you from USA
In the UK we call Cordial .....` Squash ` xx
Great Haul! Thanks for sharing!
Ooh, lovely, I can hear your chimes, pods. Thanks to you and family.

The small utility knife in that promotion is amazing!

Could you do a prep video of a big haul like your recent shop for your freezer? Ty

Hi.just come across your channel and currently watching.
You have a fantastic video going on here. Deal of the day on this haul must be the iceburg, because I know if you look after it,it lasts a long time in the fridge. Looking forward to what is in store 🙌💜👏🏻👏🏻
Hi! New subscriber here! G'day from Adelaide! Frozen lamingtons are the best - helps make them last longer too!
Hey there , new to your channel.... am from Australia too but am in Melbourne.......love your channel. Hope you and your farmyard keeping safe and well
As an Aussie watching this I forgot how many things are actually Aussie made/branded stuff. 😜
Also those MasterChef knives are the best.
It’s reminding me of stuff I are as a kid in Sydney.
Enjoy the different types of hauls you do. I find it interesting how you describe what you do or how you make every purchase a meal. Freezer meals are still a new thing for me but I am really wanting to try some of your meals though. Not sure how my family would react to it. Thanks so much for your hauls and freezer meal ideas especially for chicken. Love from the island of Guam USA🌴🌴
I love a good lamington cake :) here in Scotland we call cordial diluting juice, my kids really like it. Jealous of your heat, it’s very cold here atm, even in summer it doesn’t get that warm for us 😂😂
I feel like you could save a lot more if you prep yourself, beef burgers, chicken shnitz, homemade pizza bases etc get the kids involved 😁 but totally get convenience!
I agree, I also think they could certainly make much healthier snack for the kids. Most of it was junk and processed foods. However, I also understand it’s not always possible. One step at a time and I’m sure they could get there with all the hands to help :)
@@TheOfficialKayy yes extremely over processed, I'm all for saving money and time and love meal preparation. It really is key 👌 Fresh fresh fresh! Buy in bulk and cook yourself 🤤
I’m glad got your shopping in before lockdown! My dad used to work for McCain in America! He had to go up to Canada about once a month since it’s more popular up there!
I was wondering if it was summer, your kids legs were so red! Lol you are absolutely beautiful i can't believe you are a mother of so many children! And they seem so well behaved and friendly. You are blessed and blessed and blessed some.more! 🥰
I still cant believe you shop at coles. There are great places to buy bulk where you get the items you like cheaper
Savory Minced! Lol, after I thought about it..Is ground Beef here..Very interesting Video! Nice upload...
I LIVE IN USA MANCHESTER,NH. WE HAVE BOTH RED AND REG
I love my bonus point knifes.!
Your bacon is our ham it’s interesting :) good haul
So good to see some Australian grocery hauls, and realistic as well when it comes to feeding many with some convenience purchases as well! Saw you said the greater Brisbane lockdown, I'm north Brissie so great to know I'm watching someone local!
Hi there! We live in Toowoomba ;-)
The orange cheese in America is dyed. Better to have the natural so good for you. It's nice that the kids that helped were able to get some treats just for them.
Watching your video from Australia while living here in the USA is so interesting. The different names you have for things or even how they look, like the hot dogs, is very educational to me.
Hi you have such lovely children.Thank you from Michelle in qld
I think you did very good I had 1 cart the other day and it was 200 very little meat stocking up we still have very little snow in Wisconsin it has been in the 30s and foggy so the tree's have been beautiful we have 4 inches of snow and we should have prob 20 at least different winter for sure Bless and take care and stay safe
I'm a new subscriber to your channel , and a neibour from north east Brisbane 🙂, love watching your videos. We are hoping that your recovery doing well nd you feeling much better.
hi there neighbour
I'd say you more than earned that knife block and knives gift. Wow!!! Groceries seen so much more expensive in Australia. I'm on the East coast of the U.S.
I'm obsessed with crumbed prawn cutlets
Hi there! This was very interesting as a grocery haul and I thought money well spent you did well. I know you love Coles I usually split my home deliveries with Coles and Woolworths, delivered on different days though, makes it easier to put away..I sometimes wonder when, or if, Aldi will home deliver too. Good you had helpers with you and at home too with all those groceries much deeded help. Great video thanks for sharing ❤️
here in england aldi uk are stared doing click and collect in some towns in uk
It’s crazy how fast QLD locked down and panic buying started ...Melbourne is at zero still I think so that’s good
I’m obsessed with cherry tomatoes and mini cucumbers atm
How good are they knifes ..I Proberly won’t get them all but will be cool to see what I could get
Stay safe
Loved the grocery haul. Do you freeze the dips? I've never tried freezing dips.
I cook up some big pieces of bola blade steak and when it cooks I let it cool completely refrigerate whole then the next day I can slice it up thinly for sandwhiches
Can you please tell us roughly how many meals or how long that haul will last?? Thank you!
Hello. How are you doing I hope you and your family are doing well. Love your grocery haul. Are cheese are orange in the USA. We do have white cheese here. Thank you for sharing.
Our cheese here in America has added turmeric for that orange color. I’m surprised that you have some things like we do here. We mostly have Mexican cookies that are really good that we like. It’s the sponges and orange flavored shortbread cookies. Like your hauls and you beautiful family. From Texas USA.
Love your channel 💟 I wanted to ask you could you do some cooking channels to show step by step how you prepare your meals, they sound so delicious 💖I also like your tea time,,what items do you use in that process 😊if it's ok with you an have the time too do this,, Greatly Appreciate 💞
I love 💕 watching your videos and all the food that you buy love it 😋😁 and I think that you are a wonderful mum 🤭did I say that right 😊 anyway love your videos and keep them coming 👍 much ❤️🙏💐🌹 from california 😁🤗❤️
Your channel was recommend. I'm not a fan of hot dogs but I do like the beef type better. But I would rather have a brat. Yes, American cheese slices are yellowish-orange in color. It's not real cheese. I really enjoyed watching your trip. New subscriber - love from Ohio.
Love your channel! From the southern us here and find it so crazy how small your items are vs here. Love seeing all your grocery hauls meal prep videos would be great too!
From southern Australia here and I’d love to see some meal preps too!
Small.? Lol really?
@@angelika_munkastrap4634 yes small, in America our average ketchup is 30-50oz like how American food is always supersized
The 500 ml smaller bottle of ketchup (tomato sauce) is just a convenience size, for easy use at the table and pouring, and is the most popular for purchasing, we do have it in 2 litre bottles aswell, 2 Australia litres equals US 67.62 fluid ounces
I think it's better this way...you buy less, you eat less..
Cheese in the U.S.A. is light yellow also. The orange color cheese is dyed to be that color. For some odd reason the orange cheese is a regional favorite in some parts of the country.
Hi. I came across your channel and love it. You have a beautiful family.
Thanks :-) Welcome!
love your pink floor mat. where did you get it ? great video i think its so interesting how much difference there is in the names of food and other things where you live compared to where i live.
the red sausages, here in england we call them savaloys ,our white cheese is mild or orange is coloured cheddar,i prefer the un-coloured ,mild xx
American Cheddar is indeed a bright orange. It is dyed with a natural substance called annatto.
It’s awesome to see the younger kids are helping u on a food shop. They deffo look old enough to help. U did. the Shopping at the Right time. I hate the outside leaves of a lettuce so u made ur life easier. No pulling off the outside leaves. Biscuits last a long time in the pantry or cupboards. I’m sure I’ve had Jaffa’s wen I was a kid or wen I’ve been visiting family in Sydney. I lived in Sydney as a kid. I remember wen I got to the U.K. I went in wollies and was expected it to be a supermarket so wasn’t impressed and it was a toy shop like big W. Nothing wrong wiv wiv making life easier. My m8 onli uses long life milk.
Those pizzas are same size as our Degourno and like others. They're not that big either 🤣🙂. In the Southern section of America, they are mainly called tater tots or taters.
Great haul! Good thing you had so much help
Wow
I'm in the US and I haven't seen that brand of hot dogs. Most of ours are much darker than those. I am going to hunt for them.
I find it funny that so many of the products say "Australian" or "Australia" on them. In the US, we don't have "American Carrots" on our bags of carrots. They're just...carrots. And potatoes are "russet" or "yukon" or "red", not "American potatoes"
The "Australian" label often signifies where the produce was grown or produced. We often get a lot of international products as well and so a label such as "Australian potatoes" would just mean that the potatoes were grown in Australia.
Cordial is a big thing in France too. We call it "Sirop" (si-ro)
I would like to see if you go to a bulk food store like coscos or something. Enjoy watching your grocery hauls. God bless your family
We don't have a costco in town. I'd like to go have a look at one though. I am planning on getting there but between lockdowns, busy schedules and my cancer surgery, it's been put on hold for a bit. I will get there eventually though ;-)
You can use leftover hamburger buns to make breadcrumbs.
Nice ❤
I live in the Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan. When my family and ex was still here, for pizza night I had to buy 6 Little Ceasars pizzas for r people. I ate 2 slices and burried 2 more in the fridge for me. My Ex and 4 sons are 5 and a half pizzas by themselves. My ex would eat 1 whole and a half for 1 meal.
It is funny the difference between some American foods vs Australian foods are!
I find it very interesting! Some Australian products I wish we had here in America!
Very nice haul. For the amount you purchased, what you spent seems reasonable to me. That was alot of groceries!
How long does it take to do a shop like that? 🤔
Wonderful video. Thank you!
And I'm an Aussie who misses American food like crazy, there's so much you have there we don't have
Absolutely loved your grocery haul! As it looks much like mine. I just got a kick outta the Palmolive soap. Here in America,it's dish soap here. And those Jam things looked amazing.
palmolive soap here in england just called washing up liquid so we call it some thing different in different countries
We call it dishwashing liquid, Palmolive is just a brand, one of the most popular here
I'm glad you explained the sausage vs. hot dog thing. I have just always thought your family likes hot dogs!! ❤😜
Do you guys have sausages in the states?
Another thing to note too is when you hear a British person say they're having Bangers and Mash, it's sausages and mashed potatoes
Though they do call them sausages there too
@@angelika_munkastrap4634 yes we have sausages. We have breakfast sausage that is either loose like ground meat, patties or in links that tend to be about 3 to 4 inches in length. We also have kielbasa sausages. They are longer and thicker and are usually in a U shape when purchased. And then there is summer sausages. It is similar to a salami. It's flavored and smoked meat that's enjoyed with crackers and cheese.
How long did that last your family? So blessed you could afford it for your family!
