      Hello Karen! It's always lovely to hear from you, and it's also lovely to hear that we are among your favourite RUclipsrs! I'm so pleased you enjoyed this video, the fifth and final from Setúbal. Lee thought 3 videos would be enough, but we had such a great time there that I wanted to share more with fellow frugal travellers! Porto was the city with the cheapest menus do dia that we've visited, but I think Setúbal was the best value! I think we'll find it difficult to eat out in other countries now, having been spoilt by such delicious and affordable menus here, with such tasty and fresh local ingredients! We're actually currently housesitting near Peniche, as the Setúbal videos are 3 months behind real time, but will be heading back to Oliveira do Hospital on the 30th November to housesit on the quinta for another 2 weeks. @@FrugalTravellers Ahh brilliant. Do you know, I am much less inspired to edit my footage once it’s the next day, day after or beyond? It’s like writing a diary at night for me - it gets all my thought in order and helps me to process my day. But they still need to be at that processing stage. Once that moment is gone it’s no where near as engaging for me. Funny innit?! 😆

    • @FrugalTravellers
      @FrugalTravellers  3 года назад +1

      @@PlanetImo Lee's similar to you in that respect... he keeps a diary and writes in it last thing every night, and always wants to publish videos in real time. I'm more messy in terms of having possessions and photos/videos strewn all over the place, so am happy to work on a video with footage taken yesterday or last year. That reminds me - I need to get cracking on my 2nd Lviv video, which will be more difficult as it was taken with my old Motorola G4 Plus and camera, but it will instantly transport me back to February 2020 and remind me of how much fun we had in that beautiful city! 😁😃 ~ Mandy

    • @PlanetImo
      @PlanetImo 3 года назад

      @@FrugalTravellers Aww lovely. Do you have any difficulty getting it in order with more than one cam? I was fumbling around with that for ages until I fiddled around and found out I could bung all clips/photos in a project folder, change the view to ‘details’ (I’m working in windows) and then click ‘date’ to sort them into the order they were taken in (might need to do it twice in case it goes into reverse order). It takes into account the time as well as date, so as long as the devices are synchronised it works, other wise I have to move a few around manually. If I drag them straight onto my timeline in one lump they go on in the right order. If I drag it into the editing software folder in the editing software itself it doesn’t work because it defaults to alphabetic order. I don’t know if will be the same with your software but finding that out really sped me up. X

      Hello Sue, it's so lovely to hear from you! We're pleased you enjoyed these Setúbal videos as it really is a great city, and we hope you have as good a time there as we did!
      Yes, Lee has been studying Portuguese on the Duolingo app since September 2020, a month before we arrived in Porto. His Spanish is very good, which has helped him a lot but they're definitely not the same language, and he's had to learn the different pronunciation of letters such as D, T and J! Duolingo is Brazilian Portuguese, so that's also been a bit tricky, but it's such a great language app that he chose to stick with it, and also uses Memrise to learn the Portuguese pronunciation.
      I am so proud of his language learning skills and motivation... I wish I could be more like him but am too easily distracted by ebooks and Netflix 😁🤣 ~ Mandy

      We were so lucky to stumble across Mar Azul 2, as even though @Travel with Nadelina had recommended it to us, we'd hadn't marked it on the map, so it was serendipity that we came across it! This restaurant still has the same €9 menu on the weekends, making it a great option, especially with your Baba de Camelo !

Hopefully we'll make it to Logria - if so, I'll video everything!
      We have a housesit in Alcobaça over Christmas, which will be lovely as it's 3 cats and a dog. We have a month off housesitting in January so are thinking about heading back to Portimão and seeing some familiar faces and great beaches!
