Of course you can, but when you spew racist grifting hate that’s not criticism it’s just hate. You don’t have to like any of it but it doesn’t give anyone the right to be a bigot.
my favorites that you havent mentioned are on Akiva you can find a datapad with a report by Ochi of Bestoon, and the blastmark from greedo's missed shot in the cantina.
So then is Greedo shooting first canon after all? I mean, I know as disliked as it is, all Special Edition changes including that one should be considered canon, but certain supplementary material gives the opposite impression, and they even went out of their way in the "Solo" movie to explain why Han would've shot first.
Also in Chalmun’s cantina there’s a note from Wuher to a staff member with instructions on running the bar while he’s away. Among other things, he reiterates “no droids”. Nice to see Wuher’s droid-phobic attitude is alive n well 😂.
When getting up from a Sabacc table, I heard a patron mention hearing that somebody had won a planet in a game of Sabacc. I'm hoping that's a reference to (I believe) The Courtship of Princess Leia, when Han Solo won the planet Dathomir in a version of the card game. Rerencing that delightfully goofy novel is a win in my book lol.
I commented on your X post about this video but just in case you don't see it I will mention it here too. In the Bestine cantina there is a couple people talking at a table that make a clear Obi-wan reference. They were on the left side heading towards the elevator in the back down to the landing pad. I don't know if it is something that they say anytime you past them, just the first time, or randomly.
Teeka makes an appearance in this game (from OWK). Also, there's idle Stormtrooper chatter on Akiva that mentions the Tarkin's Will by name! As for the Purge of mandalore thing, I personally heard it on Tatooine near the Cantina. Mandalore is not directly named tho, it's simply referred to as "The Purge"
On Tatooine, just outside of Mos Eisley I found a bunch of stormtroopers doing (and failing) at target practice. And another stormtrooper somewhere talked about how this is his best assignment yet, because he loves sand. "Who doesn't love sand?"
Did you know that on Tattooine the Pykes will approach Kay to scout locations for a possible “repulser train” to carry spice through the Dune sea. Like that’ll ever be built. I’m sure it won’t have any impact on the native inhabitants. Kind of reminds me of HS2. But I feel like HS2 would take longer to build.
This channel is an isle of positivity in a sea of the opposite. I appreciate you keep on posting despite your haters. Know that this will pass and your fans will remain.
I'm *pretty sure* R5-D4 is in Jaunta's Hope. There's a R5 unit that has their motivator stolen, you've gotta go get a new one. The droid looks nearly identical to R5-D4.
I'm guessing he is just a reference since I think I saw another R5 looking droid on Tatooine, plus think he should be serving in the Rebellion currently
i found a note from kyle katarn, and if you hang out in the tatooine cantina long enough, there’s people having a conversation about how they hope “that old hermit” is ok and him calming down creatures just by holding out his hand! … oof. sorry to those people.
I loved all the Aftermath references on Akiva. It really brought the location that I'd read about to life. I also thought the game did a fairly good job of not overly shoving major characters and references in Kay's face. The Boba Fett appearance is a good example of this - just show not tell.
On Toshara in the Pyke Syndicate Cardroom one of your opponents is a Quarren named Tessek - a reference to the original “Squidhead” on Jabba’s sail barge in ROTJ.
My favorite easter egg is the booth in Chalmuns Cantina where Han killed Greedo and where you can still see a blaster mark near where Hans head would have been, which finally confirms that Greedo shot first or at least at the same time. You can also hear patrons talk about the booth being cursed and that you shouldn't sit there.
Confirms nothing. That's not how canon works according to Hidalgo. Story beats are what matter, not specifics. The only canon part of that encounter is Greedo confronting Han, a shooting occurring, and Han emerging the victor.
I know as disliked as it is, all Special Edition changes including that one should be considered canon, but certain supplementary material gives the impression that Han made the only shot, and they even went out of their way in the "Solo" movie to explain why Han would've shot first.
When Kay gets out of her stormtrooper disguise at the end, she says "I can't breathe in this thing" after removing the helmet. That's likely a nod to Dark Helmet from Spaceballs.
Thank you for mentioning that the Jawas in that early episode of Mando are "off-world Jawas". I've been wondering for years how they left Tattooine. Or maybe they just sort of... appear on desert worlds and get to work collecting?
the layout of Tatooine is also directly based off the map in the 1998 Star Wars Complete Visual Dictionary There is a note on Toshara, I forgot where, which references the intro to Dark Forces 2. The note is left by someone who owns a Bryar Pistol and is heading to the Smuggler's Bar on Nar Shaddaa, and mentions that the bartender is always accusing people of causing trouble. There's apparently a reference to the 90's fan film 'Troops' somewhere in the game, I haven't found it yet. I found the datapad mentioning the smuggling YT-2400, it's in the imperial base in the second to last mission.
yeah loved the easter eggs Fallen Order and Survivor are overdue my favorite has to be Krayt Dragon from The Marshal from The Mandalorian I go to the Western Dune Sea just encounter it Wonder if its the one Din and Cobb will Slay years Later also The Rogue Infiltrator Skin I bought with my pre-order calls back to all 6 Members of Rogue One.
Question to Answer: I’ve seen people say that Outlaws places the Purge of Mandalore during the time of Empire Strikes Back. I thought it happened back in Star Wars Rebels. Is this referring to when Moff Gideon took the Dark Saber from Bo Katan?
My favorite easter egg that you missed is on Tatooine. Two of the Tatooine Hutt vault key cards are named after two characters from The Book of Boba Fett: Dokk Strassi and Garfalaqoux. Those two characters appear in The Book of Boba Fett as the leaders of the crime family. Thought that was cool.
The dead Sarlacc was a weird quest. Probably just leftover legends-brain syndrome but I had always assumed that Sarlaccs were extremely rare in the galaxy and the one on Tatooine was the only one on the planet. Was Jabba feeding people to this other one, and then it died so he pivoted to the Great pit of Carkoon?
i imagine Jabba always favored the great pit of Carkoon. But in the Mandalorian 201 they mention that the Krayt dragon made its home in an abandoned sarlacc pit, so the suggestion that there are multiple on tatooine was already made.
One thing that can actually make RUclips sound slow is if you don't have your playback speed set to normal just click the settings button when you're watching a video.
I loved running around a Star War, and enjoyed the stealth, but once I unlocked all The Gunslinger perks, got the Tatooine Gunslinger gear, & Nix's boom ball blast ability; Kay just becomes an unstoppable killing machine, so that made things move much faster.
There's one where a Stormtrooper mentions "night world" when talking about assignments he didn't like. I don't know this is reference to unidentified night world from myths and Fables canon Brook or just a planet like Umbara which is dark.
May the Force be with you Alex and your wife. Thank you for being one of the best RUclips Star Wars content creators on the platform. The positivity you both have for Star Wars is amazing.
I am the same. I have a terrible aim and suck at guns, but there's a great learning curve in this game and lots of perks and upgrades to help out. I think you'll be fine playing.
Solo: A Star Wars Story:Tales from Vandor, which is an in universe journal about smuggling, and also in the Star Wars Outer Rim board game by FFG. But Outlaws would be the first reference in something more mainstream.
Are we allowed to criticize?
Why wouldn’t you be?
What?
Of course you can, but when you spew racist grifting hate that’s not criticism it’s just hate. You don’t have to like any of it but it doesn’t give anyone the right to be a bigot.
The point of this video was to highlight easter eggs, not to comment on the quality of the game.
are you okay?
my favorites that you havent mentioned are on Akiva you can find a datapad with a report by Ochi of Bestoon, and the blastmark from greedo's missed shot in the cantina.
So then is Greedo shooting first canon after all?
I mean, I know as disliked as it is, all Special Edition changes including that one should be considered canon, but certain supplementary material gives the opposite impression, and they even went out of their way in the "Solo" movie to explain why Han would've shot first.
Finally done with the story, now I can watch without worrying about spoilers :D
Also in Chalmun’s cantina there’s a note from Wuher to a staff member with instructions on running the bar while he’s away. Among other things, he reiterates “no droids”. Nice to see Wuher’s droid-phobic attitude is alive n well 😂.

There's also Garrick Ranch on Tatooine, which could be a reference to Garrick Hagon, who played Biggs!
I love these little to big details and Easter Eggs they put into this game. My favorite yet was seeing Boba in Jabba's palace
Another Easter egg, there is a dialog from holonet news that mentions Troops, the Cops in Star Wars parody.
I commented on your X post about this video but just in case you don't see it I will mention it here too. Greeto's shot at Han can be seen in the Cantina too!

Different R5 since it’s confirmed R5-D4 is the unit working for mechanic Pelli Moto in the Mandalorian and BOBF
My favorite was definitely helping Pykes build the train on Tatooine.
You HELPED a PYKE?
This reference to Book of Boba Fett and the hover train was a fun side quest.
I'm surprised that neither Black Sun or Nar Shaddaa were prominent in this game. I really like the visual layout/design of Nar Shaddaa in SWTOR
Not sure if it counts but if you look at the ad for season pass you can see Hondo Onaga standing next to Kay so he’ll be in the game eventually.
i found a note from kyle katarn, and if you hang out in the tatooine cantina long enough, there’s people having a conversation about how they hope “that old hermit” is ok and him calming down creatures just by holding out his hand! … oof.

ooh i also ran into someone wanting to me parts from a speeder, that was old and “made for a dug. a dug that liked to go fast.”
Murder is never okay
Unless it's a Pyke
I was so surprised at how old Temmin was because my reading of him in the aftermath books was that of like a 12 year old brat lol.
Glad I’m not the only one!
Me too!!
im fine with this mild retcon
Yeah I always imagined him being Ezra’s age when we meet him in rebels
Thats just because Chuck Wendig is not a great writer... lol

Mr. Bones dlc mission please!!
The Night of Thousand Tears was during the Battle of Hoth. 😢
This makes 'The Empire Strikes Back' even more tragic in the film.
I was waiting for this video!! Listening to some conversations or names I was sure there were plenty of references I was not getting
Love that the games goes to Akiva and all the Aftermath references too!! :D
You missed the Jawa named Teeka, the same one in the Obi-Wan series
Thank you for mentioning that the Jawas in that early episode of Mando are "off-world Jawas". I've been wondering for years how they left Tattooine. Or maybe they just sort of... appear on desert worlds and get to work collecting?
Black Sun DLC!!
There is also a scout trooper looking for her helmet, which we can take for a trophey. Not much of an easter egg but fun lore.
the layout of Tatooine is also directly based off the map in the 1998 Star Wars Complete Visual Dictionary

Does that layout of Tatooine also match the one from the training mission in the video game "Rogue Squadron 2: Rogue Leader"?
Holy crap how did I not realize that was Snap?!
Which faction did you go with in the final ending. I got the pykes
Clone Commandos mention
Where?
Where??
Wow this is chock full of references, I’m impressed!

Question to Answer: I’ve seen people say that Outlaws places the Purge of Mandalore during the time of Empire Strikes Back. I thought it happened back in Star Wars Rebels. Is this referring to when Moff Gideon took the Dark Saber from Bo Katan?
I think Rebels sparked a world wide rebellion. And the empire couldn't stand that so they purged mandalore as punishment.
There's a reference to a "shadow" looking for someone on Tatooine, which might be a reference to Maul looking for Obi Wan.
Really enjoying the easter eggs in this game.
Same
When you first come to tashara, you can hear mas ameda speaking
Oh what dues he say?
I'm so happy Temmin is in the game!!!! Justice for the Aftermath Trilogy!!!!!
The first Aftermath book playing such a big part in the game if amazing. Second Star Wars book I read, still very fond of it.
Wait are you actually positive about this game
It's like a good steak cooked by a terrible chef
It's sad because you know it could be better in better hands
I know, like how can people like things that the majority of the internet hates? Since you likely hate it too, he should have your same opinion.
I dont love the game its a 6.5 or 7 /10 but its overhated
My favorite easter egg that you missed is on Tatooine. Two of the Tatooine Hutt vault key cards are named after two characters from The Book of Boba Fett: Dokk Strassi and Garfalaqoux. Those two characters appear in The Book of Boba Fett as the leaders of the crime family. Thought that was cool.

It's not the same sarlacc as the one from Return of the Jedi, this game takes place before the movie and that Sarlacc is killed in Book of Boba Fett.
Anything living has to breed :)
i imagine Jabba always favored the great pit of Carkoon.
But in the Mandalorian 201 they mention that the Krayt dragon made its home in an abandoned sarlacc pit, so the suggestion that there are multiple on tatooine was already made.
WHAT HAPPENED TO JABBA'S SON?????
This game is so much fun. Jazzed about all the connections.
Could the "He can't eat more detonators" line in Malakili's pad be a reference to KOTOR, where you kill a Rancor on Taris by feeding it an explosive?
Totally unrelated, but my youtube is being a bit slow today and everyone sounds a bit drunk, tired and sad
One thing that can actually make RUclips sound slow is if you don't have your playback speed set to normal just click the settings button when you're watching a video.
I loved how much they brought in from the Aftermath books
I had an Excellent relationship with all the syndicates, but it was Jabba that came to my rescue, at the end.
So much fun.
Let’s goooo!
Thanks for this, Alex and Mollie!
General Grievous was mentioned a few times, and although not the third moon itself, the planet Vassek is mentioned in one of the datapad's report.
I loved running around a Star War, and enjoyed the stealth, but once I unlocked all The Gunslinger perks, got the Tatooine Gunslinger gear, & Nix's boom ball blast ability; Kay just becomes an unstoppable killing machine, so that made things move much faster.
The easter egg I am missing in this game is fun
I went the Crimson Dawn route. They pay well. Also, I hope Mollie is doing well.
There's one where a Stormtrooper mentions "night world" when talking about assignments he didn't like. I don't know this is reference to unidentified night world from myths and Fables canon Brook or just a planet like Umbara which is dark.

Question for anyone really, where is Dash Rendar mentioned in the current Cannon? I must have missed that one...
Tales from Vandor
This is an easy one to miss since it's buried in a junior grade Solo tie book, Tales from Vandor
On the book “Tales from Vandor”
Solo: A Star Wars Story:Tales from Vandor, which is an in universe journal about smuggling, and also in the Star Wars Outer Rim board game by FFG. But Outlaws would be the first reference in something more mainstream.
Cool.
