    Chipotle mayo and some shredded cabbage takes fish tacos to the next level. Add a three bean salad with corn and you got a zinger right there. Like the basic version though clayton! Love your stuff!

    Oh no! Another CSO recipe video. Making me fish hungry. Now I gotta catch more fish!
    Looks great dude. Different from how I do my fish tacos. But variety is the spice of life. I’ll be sampling this one.

    Cooked up some fish tacos the same day LOL great minds think alike i suppose. I'm pretty guilty for going over elaborate on my food. Caramelized onions and bell peppers in brown sugar and chili powder for seasoning. triple breaded deep fried crappie for max crunch, avocado, tomato, cilantro, Valentina mexican hot sauce, sour cream, and pickled radish for that little bit of savory.

    Definitely going to try the franks to wet the fillets before the batter. Usually I just do the old school flour, egg, breadcrumb mix, but I’ve had the bakers narrows batter and it’s great! Love the cooking vids!

    Back when I just a young feller I seened this vidya on the television of an elephant sitting on this fella's head. He wasn't hurt but his head was covered in poopoo so I got a good chuckle out of it. I still think about it all these years later. Kinda makes a fella feel thankful.

    Try for 1 heating up the tortillas. Then shredded cabbage, salsa verde , squesze of lime juice and queso fresco. That sir is how you make an authentic fish taco. Damn Canadians!!!

    Fish Crisp Original is my go-to fish coating, you can add your own spices to change it up however you want. Put the cheese directly on the fish first thing so it has a chance to get melty :)

    They look great. Nothing like fresh fish. Thanks for doing another video Clayton. Do you bleed fish after you catch them? Do you use the "zipper" technique when filleting?

    • @ClaytonSchickOutdoors
      @ClaytonSchickOutdoors  4 года назад

      Yes, I bleed the fish, and sometimes I zipper and sometimes I do not. All depends on how I am going to cook the fish :)

  • @TravisInCanada1

    Isn't this breading? I always thought Batter was wet and breading was dry.
    Anyway looks delicious, one of my favorites is Kikkoman
    Panko Bread Crumbs (found at most grocery stores) if you have never tried breading your fish with it I would recommend it.
    Panko Bread Crumbs are course and remain crunchy after cooked.

    • @ClaytonSchickOutdoors
      @ClaytonSchickOutdoors  4 года назад +1

      Yes, you are right, breading is what it should be. I have used Panko you bet :)
