Beloved Friends, I have spent the last few days feeling into the Amazon Fires. I have opened my heart as far and as wide as possible. Imagining how it must be for the trees, people and animals that are being burnt, killed, displaced and choked to death. I have done my utmost to let that terror in. I have imagined the Brazilan and American Presidents rubbing their hands in glee at the prospect of obtaining agricultural land at the expense of the rainforest. I have even imagined all of us struggling for breath as these fires continue to burn across the planet (there are currently fires in the artic too)... When I turn to this place inside of me. I see the 'Spirit' of the Amazon leaving us. I see the spirit of the plant medicines leaving us. I see the spirit of the indigenous people leaving us. Not because we have done something wrong. But because enough of us have been given the gift. There are enough humans on the planet now that have seen and tasted the Truth. Because we 'know' we can choose how to live at a time like this. It really does seem as if we along with 1000's of other species and our current natural world are heading towards death. We are in an extinction phase. As utterly heartbreaking, frightening and despairing as all this is. There is something very tender in this. And it is this tenderness that I write these words. We are not on our own. We are disappearing with the natural world. Because we are the Natural World. Our flesh will become once again the potential for NEW LIFE. Once the vast majority of us have been exhumed - there will be some kind of new growth. Little green shoots will reappear - and our bodies will be the fertile ground for their nourishment and strengthening. Another important aspect of this vision is that we have the ability to face this death consciously. Because of the medicine from the rainforest, because of that great gift, we can use our last precious moments of life to be kind-hearted. To reach out and love - everything. To praise the world, to honour one another, to make a difference over and over again. I am not suggesting we sit back and let all this mayhem happen. What I reminding us of - is the 'feeling' of Faith. The feeling of goodness. The feeling of great, great care for one another, self and all. I have never taken any of the plant medicines from the Amazon, but I know plenty who have. And I deeply, deeply thank and bless the plant, the elements, and the ground upon which this spirit could become manifest. You have helped us so much. There are enough of us to heed this message. As the Amazon fires burn, I just started classes for my certification in permaculture. It’s giving me hope and a sense of purpose , even though it’s just going to involve a micro scale change to the tiny property I own for right now. I am hoping for a ripple effect, a way to inspire others in my community, and just pure love to come out of the love I have for the Earth. Getting up at 5:00 in the morning to work on my land before I go to my day job is my form of prayer, and a way to channel my grief for the pain I see inflicted on Gaia.
I just “ randomly” stumbled upon this video though have never seen you in my feed before. This is EXACTLY the message I’ve been sharing with friends lately about what’s happening and what the best way to effectively heal this perception is. Being with all the emotions arising within our own energy fields in an open hearted embrace of love, acceptance and forgiveness... observing the thoughts that want to externalize blame and judgement and not following them. Ultimately it’s all occurring within our own consciousness, so taking responsibility here within is the most direct way to “ see” a change on the “ outside”. I know it can all seem so real.... I know it seems justified to lash out and want to do something about it all, but ironically the best way to “ do” something is to first open up internally to whatever is arising and fully and gratefully engage with whatever is there to be felt. Once that’s been received, guidance will be given as to how to move in the world.. not as a reaction out of Fear, but as a response from Love. In this way we restore Peace to the mind and free the world to be the innocence it is.

This is so on point. I am a Landscape Architect. I've worked hard to plant every urban tree. It's been a difficult battle at times over the years and the consciousness in development is still driving the shaping of the landscape development in all countries. I decided to become a Flower Essence Therapist because it is the most powerful, sustainable, earth-based healing modality on the planet and has been a significant part of my awakening as well. I am SO privileged to help others with this powerful healing modality. I realized that learning to love myself is intimately tied to my love for the earth and that if I am not standing up for her and this beautiful 'living Gaia' than it is impossible for me to fully love myself. I am still finding myself having to wake some people up that are downplaying the significance of what is going on describing the situation as 'not being that bad' or that the whole thing is just a 'fear tactic' to control the masses. My elder guides came to be on multiple occasions before finding out about the fires and tears were shed but I wasn't clear until after what it was all about. They need us to ANSWER THE CALL. I feel your pain and despair when seeing the beginning of this video as you describe what’s happening. It’s heartbreaking and it’s so hard not to default to anger, rage and rebellion in “the other”. Oh we certainly outnumber them, but we are the fools. They got us trained really well, indoctrinated compliant servants, addicted of materialism and blind and accomplice to the destruction happening all around us. And here we are meditating, "opening our heart", changing the "collective thinking"... really? That's exactly what they want us to keep doing, like we have for the past several thousand years.

Many are angered at the lack of attention from the media but in some ways that would just enforce the blame and anger and direct all that wasted energy to a perceived and unseen enemy. We must focus that energy on our own seemingly small but positive actions. As you have mentioned, 'we must believe in a more Beautiful World in order for us to serve it!'
And that is the path. From deep pain (power under) to anger and rage (power against) to transformation into "Power with." How do we use that very powerful rage emotion to create and co-create "Power with?" When we are feeling rage, it is because something we desperately love has been desecrated. What has been desecrated? Our children? Our families? Our homes? Our communities? Our world? Once we identify what we desperately love and are willing to give our lives to preserve, we can direct that very strong, passionate, emotional energy to stand firmly and passionately for all that we love. It becomes a moral imperative. Nothing can drag us off course.

I am grateful for the video and his sharing that this is a systemic issue. I feel a reason we experience such despair and overwhelm at this time on the planet is the system in question is the entire web of life. 🌻 There is a CRUCIAL PIECE that we are missing in Charles heartfelt sharing. That being, the essential role our ancestors play in the web of life. In the past humans had that awareness and connection from which we are currently disconnected. All indigenous cultures know it is folly to face the future without ancestral support. We are not meant to to navigate this time alone. So when we do the work of personal ancestral healing and reconnection we strengthen the "field", that morphic resonance field of the heart to create anew. Trusting the field of morphic resonance and transforming the conditions is all ways the solution. Engaging in anger and blame keeps one looped in the same energetic field that created the issues in the first place. thank you for the post ... raising a lot of feelings and important thoughts. We shouldnt fall into dispair, get stuck with it, but I sense the importance of feeling the pain not turning away from it now. Sharing it. Listen to it most carefully and on a deeper level as it makes us feel the spiritual crisis and the symptoms of soul loss on a huge scale, we are all part of. This is part of love .... and love endures. Nature is within us, part of us ... she is inside outside ... all the same. The fires around the world shows us, what we have long forgotten. We have to GO THROUGH this and do it together and actually we cant avoid doing so - as we are all part of this living world. Thoughts still need to be brought into the world, but with ideas that come from love and not hate. If you eat beef, know where it comes from. Cut back on the soy and sugar. And when you pray for Earth, don't pray in despair, pray knowing the healing is already happening. Praying in despair is asking the universe for more despair. If you find yourself lost in the despair, remember this: Once upon a time we had this thing called the Berlin Wall... and then we didn't. What happened there?

Our addiction to war mentality is so hard to break even for those of us who agree it is not the way...especially in times like this when my heart is breaking with the absurdity of our actions towards destroying the incredible beauty of our planet. This is EXACTLY the message I’ve been sharing with friends lately about what’s happening and what the best way to effectively heal this perception is. Being with all the emotions arising within our own energy fields in an open hearted embrace of love, acceptance and forgiveness... observing the thoughts that want to externalize blame and judgement and not following them. Ultimately it’s all occurring within our own consciousness, so taking responsibility here within is the most direct way to “ see” a change on the “ outside”. I know it can all seem so real.... I know it seems justified to lash out and want to do something about it all, but ironically the best way to “ do” something is to first open up internally to whatever is arising and fully and gratefully engage with whatever is there to be felt. Once that’s been received, guidance will be given as to how to move in the world.. not as a reaction out of Fear, but as a response from Love.
In this way we restore Peace to the mind and free the world to be the innocence it is.

People are getting very sad with all the rights lost, the violence of this man. At the same time many people still on his side. Thank you, this was a bit of battery charge so I can keep telling my stories of change around here.
I believe this is a VERY important framing of the crises we're facing. I chose the path of connection, love, relationship, and radical revolutionary changes to the stories that have led our society down such a dire destructive path.

This is so on point. I am a Landscape Architect. I've worked hard to plant every urban tree. It's been a difficult battle at times over the years and the consciousness in development is still driving the shaping of the landscape development in all countries. I decided to become a Flower Essence Therapist because it is the most powerful, sustainable, earth-based healing modality on the planet and has been a significant part of my awakening as well. I am SO privileged to help others with this powerful healing modality. I realized that learning to love myself is intimately tied to my love for the earth and that if I am not standing up for her and this beautiful 'living Gaia' than it is impossible for me to fully love myself. We are one. Thank you for articulating these truths and sentiments articulately and clearly. I am still finding myself having to wake some people up that are downplaying the significance of what is going on describing the situation as 'not being that bad' or that the whole thing is just a 'fear tactic' to control the masses. From what I have seen there ARE many people heavy into the spiritual community that ARE spiritually bypassing. My elder guides came to be on multiple occasions before finding out about the fires and tears were shed but I wasn't clear until after what it was all about. They need us to ANSWER THE CALL. Like you said, they need us to be 'aware and have the courage to take that next step when it is presented to us.'!
I feel your pain and despair when seeing the beginning of this video as you describe what’s happening.
It’s heartbreaking and it’s so hard not to default to anger, rage and rebellion in “the other”.
I know you’re right Charles because the other alternative only brings additional pain and more of the same.
What you propose is to let go of that other way of life were taught but instead to embrace the heart. We’re truly being called to a time of bravery and courage.

Thank you Charles! A very moving video. Many are angered at the lack of attention from the media but in some ways that would just enforce the blame and anger and direct all that wasted energy to a perceived and unseen enemy.
We must focus that energy on our own seemingly small but positive actions.
As you have mentioned, 'we must believe in a more Beautiful World in order for us to serve it!'
And that is the path. From deep pain (power under) to anger and rage (power against) to transformation into "Power with." How do we use that very powerful rage emotion to create and co-create "Power with?"
When we are feeling rage, it is because something we desperately love has been desecrated. What has been desecrated? Our children? Our families? Our homes? Our communities? Our world?
Once we identify what we desperately love and are willing to give our lives to preserve, we can direct that very strong, passionate, emotional energy to stand firmly and passionately for all that we love. It becomes a moral imperative. Nothing can drag us off course.

I am grateful for the video and his sharing that this is a systemic issue. I feel a reason we experience such despair and overwhelm at this time on the planet is the system in question is the entire web of life. 🌻 There is a CRUCIAL PIECE that we are missing in Charles heartfelt sharing. That being, the essential role our ancestors play in the web of life. In the past humans had that awareness and connection from which we are currently disconnected. All indigenous cultures know it is folly to face the future without ancestral support. We are not meant to to navigate this time alone. So when we do the work of personal ancestral healing and reconnection we strengthen the "field", that morphic resonance field of the heart to create anew.
Trusting the field of morphic resonance and transforming the conditions is all ways the solution. Engaging in anger and blame keeps one looped in the same energetic field that created the issues in the first place. He speaks of "When the mind has no idea how to get from point A to point B" Systemically we do this by connecting to the " morphic resonance field" of system of the issue, and the innate, natural orders of love, and life.

Yes, and in our ignorance, innocence, complacency and indifference, we have made ourselves and the Earth sick. But that is changing; people are healing body and spirit, and the Earth is taking notice. When my clients get well, they awaken other areas of their lives and become acutely aware of their own effect on others and on the Earth.
We humans as a species will become extinct if we continue to raise the carbon emissions...it is science plain, simple and not charged with emotion or ego...we will implode very easily, we’re doing a good job to achieve extinction for ourselves...I will spread love in my remaining time on the planet for those oblivious and for those informed of the environmental crisis at hand...Mother Earth will continue to exist after we are extinct...and the planet will heal or reach “homeostasis”, equilibrium, balance...earth is middle aged at 4 billion years old, the planet will be consumed by a super nova sun 4 billion years from now...this all is merely science...

thank you for the post ... raising a lot of feelings and important thoughts. We shouldnt fall into dispair, get stuck with it, but I sense the importance of feeling the pain not turning away from it now. Sharing it. Listen to it most carefully and on a deeper level as it makes us feel the spiritual crisis and the symptoms of soul loss on a huge scale, we are all part of. This is part of love .... and love endures.
Nature is within us, part of us ... she is inside outside ... all the same. The fires around the world shows us, what we have long forgotten. We have to GO THROUGH this and do it together and actually we cant avoid doing so - as we are all part of this living world.
The pain is a sign, a wakeup call .... deep inside nature, is deep inside ourselves. The people of the Amazon are some of the old wisdom keepers of the world. They are kept alive by the forrest and they kept the forrest alive - FOR ALL OF US - also the spiritual knowledge of it.
This is the gift, the great gift. None of us should look away right now. Their home is on fire. They are calling out for help and this call is of outmost importance . We have to stay .. listening, feeling, seeing, sharing ... going through the deep pain and KEEP going ... until we know how to how act ...

I play with that anger like with a child; I painted a picture, blowing rainy clouds from the east and the west towards the amazonas. I do the raindance! Let's not fear what is happening! Fear is a trap! Love! I know it's horrible and the real lesson is to love although the situation looks to the ego like an apocalypse! We have to believe, that everything happens for a reason! I posted a comment on Gary Lite's "awareness raising" video which left one feeling totally helpless and his response was to attack my concern that his message felt like it was feeding the fires with fear!!! Change agents are about finding solutions not "...do something or else!!!" Or else what??? Namaste!!!
Thoughts still need to be brought into the world, but with ideas that come from love and not hate. If you eat beef, know where it comes from. Cut back on the soy and sugar. And when you pray for Earth, don't pray in despair, pray knowing the healing is already happening. Praying in despair is asking the universe for more despair.
If you find yourself lost in the despair, remember this: Once upon a time we had this thing called the Berlin Wall... and then we didn't. What happened there?
