Fantastic achievement.....Appreciate every single person who contributed to make this destroyer ship...Govt need to make at least 10 such destroyers....If this is what our country going to get them many of the taxpayers will b more than happy.... Also If Russia considers India as their partner, Putin must support Atmnirbhar Bharat although it is causing financial loss to them...Even if India will become less dependent on Russia regarding its defence requirements, India & its people do love & respect Russia & its people...The leadership of both countries need to understand the global change; mainly China
I think a good media team should be dedicated to our national forces to create much better videos of our armed force and show them in a way they deserve to be shown!🇮🇳 I mean look at the video quality and the videography. It could be way better if there was a dedicated media team.

Its under whelming in every way - it lacks adequate offensive ability, inadequate defensive measures, its over budget and long delayed. One destroyer added every decade is not going to mean anything against the PLAN even if its new in some respects. No towed array sonar, no heavy weight torpedos, no long range land attack cruise missiles, limited anti air missile range and inadequate Anti-ship cruise missile defenses to defeat attack from supersonic sea skimming missiles. This might be impressive against Pakistan or Bangladesh but wont impress the PLAN.
Less punch than expected …No 127mm gun , ACTAS sonar , less missiles than contemporary destroyers…it’s an upgraded Kolkata destroyer at the best made in a shorter time frame …time to leap frog and build far greater destroyer of tonnage and punch..we need to seriously design and build heavier/stealthier destroyers/ aircraft carriers / submarines that can be game changers to prevent a Chinese inroads into Indian Ocean and beyond..

Even if not greater in size, the numbers they are built in must increase...
quality vs quantity. Better quality missiles, rather than more missiles. Also ACTAS sonar can be added within a matter of hours.
