I remember when you got the welding machine. I can tell you have really learned alot with it . You definitely deserve the sponsorship with it and all the sponsorships you have gotten Kyle! You definitely know what you are doing with it ! I think it has been a great addition to your tools in your shop . Great video as always Kyle! Take care and stay safe my friend !!

What a great video showing the welder in detail. I Like how you showed the controls, the settings chart, and even the manual with voltages and amp values. I like to see things before I buy them and this is the next best thing. What's crazy is that this 120V machine welds the same thickness as my 240V Lincoln 180 Mig with shielding gas, 3/16". It falls short of the 180 when using flux core but unless you get the 045 liner kit for the 180, you're limited to 5/16". (with 045 NR-212 flux core they claim the 180 will weld 1/2")And it weighs about half as much. I'm tempted...
Edit: I just looked through the manual and this 140 will actually do 5/16" not only with nr-211 self shielded flux core wire, but it will do it at lower settings using 71M dual shield wire. Very impressive, the inverter is definitely more efficient!

For thicker steel you can preheat the material good and hot and you'll burn in better. Not ideal but it helps.

Even though it costs more, I find the flexibility of having separate MIG and TIG/Stick machines is really worth it once you get into welding. Both machines are always ready to go depending on what needs to be done, and with TIG comes with a lot more configuration. Seems like a hassle to switch all the attachments, swap gas bottles, connectors.

I got a Lincoln 210MP for one reason: versatility. My shop has 240 volts but when I take the machine outside the shop, most places are only 120 volts. I do have all the processes plus the machine is inverter, no big transformer= less weight. Enjoy that machine.

Nice welder , take full advantage of the sponsorship . If you have 220v in the shop I would go for bigger multifunction unit or a larger stick welder . Great video , you can have a give away with the old unit to a family member .

Can you take us on a road trip in the Vandura? Would love to see some images of Newfoundland. You are such a good youtuber that I watched the whole tig video although to be honest I really have no interest in the thing, but always a joy to share your enthusiasm.

Thanks for the very informative video--you're a good teacher. I would take a theory course on welding from you, if you offered it. I have done a couple of small and messy welding projects with hand-me-down equipment, but I'm in the market for something that will satisfy the needs of a small hobby farm, and allow me to learn more techniques on better equipment. Your versatile setup from Lincoln here seems like it might fit the bill. Is there anything with similar versatility, but maybe with a bit higher output / larger capacity that you recommend?

The 140 is the bottom tier and not considered an industrial spec unit - but its great for small jobs.

that motorhome is actually a really great idea!
    because,
pickup trucks/chassis trucks are outrageously overpriced at the moment.
and I bet that thing can haul some heavy loads.
I might look for a diesel one .
cheap low mileage and undesirable. lol
till you convert it to a flatbed of course !
