[Guide] 100% winrate build vs Zerg

- This build only gives 100% winrate if you don't count the losses, however it still is a fantastic build which should increase your rank very quickly. Please practice this build vs the AI before taking it to the ladder.

Great build as usual Harstem, I've won every game I haven't lost. With that said, I'm not quite sure about what you said at 4:08, as I've found I've been falling behind economically a lot and have been stockpiling a lot of chrono, especially in 20-30 minute games in the other match-ups, is there ever going to be a time I will be able to resume chronoboosting my probes this patch? Or should I focus on improving my irl economy so I can purchase more coaching? Cheers
Keep improving that IRL economy to purchase more coaching. That way I will become way rich.. uh I mean you will become way better at the game. Gl working your ass off to pay for my extravagant lifestyle

24 (core finish, 2:08) Adept (chrono)
Tech phase:
100 Gas (2:20): Twilight council
50 Gas (2:25): Warpgate upgrade
after adept: Stalker (chrono)
Continue probe production
100 Gas (2:25) robo
(2:54) 3 gas workers to natural
Warpgate upgrade 54% (3:13): 2 gateways
(3:20) Glaive upgrade (don't chono, yet)
(3:30) 2 gateways
39 mini probe cut until prism is built
(3:40) Prisim (chono)
Next chonos: glaive upgrade

(3:57) 2 gas on natural
natural saturated: fill main base gas
Prep attack:
3 warp gates finish (4:12, with warp gate upgrade): warp in 3 adepts, pick up with prism and attack
2 pylons
next warp gate cycle (4:30): warp in 5 adepts (warp gate times should align, on the way to attack)
(4:40) dark shrine
attack with 9 adepts & warp in 1 more round
How to attack zergs (based on future videos as well):
Attack between natural and third. Shade into natural & run into 3rd. If you win fight at third or can kill drones: stay there. Don't shade into many roaches. Keep shading back and forth between bases. Warp in adepts with robo and keep it a bit back until most Queens are dead.
Note:
- Numbers on the left mean supply as a time-marker that's more robust to harasses
- Time stamps from harstem's build are given in parentheses. Times will vary in most games. Conditions are more important than time stamps!
- if no condition is given (like supply, gas or unit/upgrade finished): perform task as fast as possible after previous task

As you can see Hartstem recorded this against the Easy AI. So now you know the secret, always train against the Easy A.I setting, fastest road to rank 1 100%.

Now I know how to beat Zerg, but how do I kill IMBA Terran?
I watched this build before my first game with the AI and I only floated 1000 minerals, basically a pro.

Just tried this twice on the ladder, got the timing for adepts right, but got destroyed both times by a bunch of roaches.. what am I doing wrong? If I don't scout a third base I can't do this build?
Yeah a Zerg player who doesn't have a third base up and running by the time this hits is way behind on economy relative to the standard builds, and is going for a lot of units themselves, so I doubt this build would do well against them.

Why make the TC early if no glave upgrade before queeing up 2 more gates?
Hmm this gave me some ideas. Has anything changed since this was published a year ago?
What is the point of delaying the WG upgrade to get an earlier TC if you don't have enough money to start the glave upgrade right away anyways? Is it to trick your opponent into thinking you went for a stargate?
Yes exactly that. You don't want to give away too much with the wg timing, because you don't have money for faster units anyway.
I know it exists a newer video about attacking with Adept made by Harstem, someone could help me with that please ?

Why does he build the twilight council before warp gate if he is then going to let the twilight council idle for like 30 long seconds? Can't he get the warp gate first? it would make the build easier cause then you don't have to be so tight with the warp gate timing. Am I missing something?
Why would i want to delay my warpgate for a faster twilight if i´m taking glaves about 25 seconds after my twilight is done?
why wouldnt you? you dont need the warpgate earlier as well.
Great content. Can I beat 2 base muta with this? My friend gets 6 (8?) muta around 4:50.
What if the 12 pool is followed by few ravagers with the only intention to open the wall and let the ling flood do its thing, don't you want to scout it asap with the adept ?

hey, it would be great if there was no pausing in the build video. That way I can play this video while I'm playing to help learn the build order better
There are download links for the replays in the description. You can record those for uninterrupted gameplay. However, for a build guide on youtube, I think it was more important to explain the decisions going into it in detail.
If this build is so powerful and its main weakness is being scouted, why not proxy the twilight?

I think they reverted the change and now it works as it used to, i.e. +45% attack speed all the time.

I think you should make the AI you're playing against the same race as the build is designed for. Just a tiny bit off-putting picturing a pvz build when the production tab is pvp.

btw my 6 gate glaive adepts hit (being in third hatch mineral line) at 5;38, I'm only in diamond and wonder when hit your 5 gate =)
I have 10 Adepts ofcourse. (in prism you hide 4)
