The only glaring weakness is still Georgiev. On any other team with an average defense, he’d get lit up for 4+ every night. I know it sounds like nitpicking, but this will matter (again) in the playoffs. Especially in tight one goal games.
I trust Georgiev more than trusted Kuemper. The skaters: balance between offence and defence has to be found before the post season. And some kind of continuety as well. Nowadays their level of playing goes from heaven to hell all to often from one game to another. The gk is not the biggest issue with this avs teams, it`s the sloppy to:s that cost against the teams like vegas for example.
I don't think you understand the terms "glaring" or "weakness." Neither goal tonight was his fault. First goal was a redirect. Second was a result of poor defensive coverage. Georgy is the best goalie we've had in years. He's tied for the league lead in wins. He's been left out to dry multiple times this season by his team. I'm not at all trying to attack you for your comment but he isn't/wasn't the problem
Love to see ducks fans moved down a peg haha still a great team just had a bad game. If only my Yotes were even a LITTLE competition for either of these teams... haha

It’s not like Kuemper was an all star when they won the cup. Avs we’re just able to out score him being an above average goalie.
The defense last season was atrocious with the injuries. Georgiev kept them alive in a lot of games. Bad take

The Anaheim Ducks put in one of the worst performances I've seen all season. That was really bad, almost as if they were not even trying all game.
Well back to backs suck and they also ran into a buzz saw of a team with something to prove.
