- Nathan MacKinnon had a goal and two assists and also picked up his 500th career point and Jonathan Drouin added a pair of helpers as the Colorado Avalanche held on to defeat the Anaheim Ducks 3-2.

Best game from Josh Manson all season. Really showing off his speed and handles, while laying down the big hits. Gibson was hot hot hot tonight. Nice job by the Avs to score enough to get the win.
Gibsons save on Rants 3:35, is so incredibly hard to make. When your hand is lower than where the shot is placed is almost impossible the raise it back up on time, that's a big league save!
Was closer than it needed to be, but a good win. Nate Dawg is becoming an assist machine and gets goals. Drouin is finding his stride too.

What I liked most were the goalie saves.
MacDermid should be playing more than those who aren’t even producing a point. Shame he can’t crack the lineup on a regular basis.
Because he turns around and makes boneheaded plays that cost the team just like he did in the 3rd period
Ducks had a nice second pick! I guess they knew what they were doing.

He’s really good. But he isn’t game stealing good. And I don’t understand why he isn’t. He should be. I don’t get it. The Avs haven’t had a lock on goal since Roy. Even then, after that ridiculous yzerman goal, Roy could be shaken. Look at his last season. I think he had another season in him with Sakic, but he couldn’t take bullshit anymore. He needed more D. He needed Borque, Blake, Foote, and Ozilinche in front of him haha. The most ridiculous team to exist. Should have won 5 cups. Won’t 2. Oh well. That’s hockey.
Whoever edited this video needs to learn a lesson in pacing. Spent three minutes in the first period showing non threatening plays, then is forced to show a very brief second and third. Come on sportsnet.

*Funny moment I caught watching the Avs' broadcast (not sure if it was picked up on the Ducks' broadcast) - During the second period, between **14:00** and **13:30** or so, the commentator was mentioning about a player "taking one in the chops." After that, you can clearly hear a player yell "F*CK YOU!" A little awkward silence occurred afterwards before the commentator gives a slightly flustered "Ok." Not sure if anyone else watching the game caught that. I had to rewind the game a bit to make sure I heard correctly.*
