      Nigeria is one of the most ethnically diverse countries in the world (believe it's #5). While that may seem like a challenge, it can serve as a framework. Use the migration periods of the groups that you belong to. Research conquests, conflicts, tribal and kingdom alliances for clues. You may be able to narrow it down to a reasonable probability by eliminating the impossibilities. I love the work that this research team does for that reason. Sherlock Holmes could learn from this channel.

    If anyone wants to know how brutal President Moi's regime was, read about Robert Ouko; it seems his spirit cannot rest in peace. The shockwaves of what happened to him still reverberate every year when Ouko's name comes up here and there. He was a symbol of the single minded brutality of that era. I dont blame Lupita's dad for fleeing, and it was incredibly brave of him to come back after only 4 years. Alot has changed in Kenya because of these brave men and it is our prayer that God will continue to liberate and protect this country. Raila Odinga is of course the symbol of democracy in Kenya having fought for many of the freedoms we enjoy today, though very much unappreciated - esp. among the youth - due to poor documentation of our history, and a continued culture of tribal discrimination that plagues the country; fueled by politicians. We believe, and we declare by God's grace that NEVER AGAIN will we suffer the madness of those years.

    Very pretty lady. But wow she had a strong father and family. I’m white so maybe this sounds strange. But I’m incredibly honored to see this story. And thankful for what her father did. I am 65 yrs old and as a young child my dad taught me color doesn’t matter. We are all the same. In my faith I believe the same thing. We are all Gods children. I am so proud of this you woman and happy to call her my sister. As we are all Gods children.

    Is there a film/documentary or book that goes into more detail about this party of Kenyan history?

    • @MM-eq2fr
      @MM-eq2fr 2 года назад

      Sure is. She comes from a long line of political power. Her forefathers (great grands) were given money and power from the West to point out and sell other people that resided in Africa to be enslaved in the West or around the world (Trans Atlantic Slave trade).

    Slave Trade.

    To be honest, ALL of human history depresses me. Whenever i want to stop watching fluff and want to learn about the history of any country, it brings me down. The personal accounts are the worse, but just reading the facts is bad enough. And if its not humans doing bad things to each other, its nature: so many horrific diseases & disasters...sorry to be negative.
    But this is a good story and i guess we can take heart from it. The human race keeps struggling along & this mans fortitude & courage gives me hope.
