She apologized because she doesn't want to end up being destroyed on social media like Blake Lively and because she has a new movie coming out. At least she explained her reasoning to the interviewer, she was going through a bad time and also maybe tired of being questioned over and over again about the movie.

The actor doesn’t have to comply with that if they don’t feel like it. The relationship between the press and celebrities isn’t so simple that we should rush to make snap judgements about whose behavior is acceptable and whose isn’t. Often journalists ask really frustrating, invasive, and quite often sexist questions of celebrities. So yes, Lively is being rude, but when she reacts negatively to that question, it‘s not just about that one interviewer, it‘s about a culture of sexist questions that she is voicing her anger about (if not in a very productive way). It might be unfair to single out just this one interviewer in that moment, but sometimes emotions and frustrations can get the better of us. Same goes for Hathaway. Her responses don‘t seem like they are personal attacks against the interviewer but more like she is feeling emotionally vulnerable in that time of her life and is letting it out on that person. That may not be very fair since it means she is not engaging with the interviewer as a person with real feelings. The interviewer deserves to be treated with kindness, but remember that it is their job to ask often invasive questions and that can naturally lead to uncomfortable situations for both sides. And these actors have extremely full schedules, getting asked the same questions over and over again, of course they won’t be perfect human beings at all times. Yes, we should criticize how celebrity culture elevates some people to act as if they were the center of the universe, but that‘s just it, it is a culture. There’s no point in just pointing the finger at these actresses and gossiping about what terrible people they are. It‘s just not that simple.

I don't think Anne was rude i think she didn't want to engage on repeated questions about love. Can you imagine when you're promoting a movie as an actor or actress? How many interviews you go through one after the other? And they're all asking you these stupid questions maybe it would be better if they just limited the number of interviews they do, because I figure the normal person would get annoyed. Also Flaa isn't great at asking questions 😂

    Attention all celebs.
Be aware if you don’t perform to this interviewer’s standards she will post the worst part of your interview on her RUclips channel to embarrass you without the context of the before or after that might allow a person to reasonably see where their resistance might have come from.
What I find most appalling is the celebrity is blindsided because the interview in question is sometimes months if not years old.

What I havent liked is shed a click bait title to get people to watch the interview, which was old. I also saw it and this is where I disagree with most…..Blake was there to promote her work, not to have a stranger start the interview by commenting on her stomach. Blake could have handled it much better, but this interviewer is not blameless. She started the interview poorly, lost control of it quickly, and then only raised it YEARS later as Blake promotes another movie with some drama around it, using a click bait title to add to the drama.

Lmao omg I wish people were that 'nasty' to me at work FFS. I think this interviewer is the problem... 'was love more passionate back then?' (you mean when openly abusing your wife was acceptable and women couldn't own anything and were treated like property?) She literally sings the song I had a dream in the movie before dying of TB because the guy abandoned her and her kid. No. Anne's answer was correct and she wasn't rude, she doesn't owe you over the top niceness for silly questions.

No, it isn't that deep, it's actually really simple isn't it? Simple questions get simple answers. But if she'd bothered to think about her question for half a minute she'd realise that asking about crushes and passionate love were really off base when you're speaking to someone about having played Fantine's character - one of the most abused and dejected characters in literary history.

This woman is a bully who targets young female celebrities!!! People raging about Blake’s interview- It has nothing to do sexual harassment of women in the industry!! Female celebrities are held to standards male ones never have!! Watch any Leo DiCaprio interview, watch them with Tom Hardy - when they completely ignore the interviewer and the questions and start eating random snacks, and then look at the comments - how people are praising them and hyping them up!!! Never once I Heard male celebrities being destroyed for not “smiling / being nice enough” during their interviews!! It only applies to women somehow 🤦‍♀️
