You nailed it. I've tried to explain this to others but they don't understand. I also believe that all animals are capable of this kind of love, after all our God the Father created all animals...😁😁🐕🐕
I agree with you 100%. I have a standard Chihuahua. When Im sad, he gets on my lap, hind legs on my lap, from legs one on each shoulder, and presses his face into mine. Yup,, he gives his version of a hug. Dogs truely are amazing..
That broke my heart,I've always believed animals have feelings and empathy,so much that a dog can't see pictures. Love this video, even though it's so sad. Love what you all did.
When we lost our rottie, her son was still with us. My parents dug a hole for her and placed her in it. They said they let him stay near her open grave, and he cried and just layed there for a long while. They have big emotions. I think more than we give them credit for.
I once had 2 miniature dachshund s ,bonded pair male and female. When the male became ill in old age and was dying the female sat with him all day every day grooming him, trying to encourage him to eat and generally taking care of him. After he passed away and was burried she sat in vigil by his grave for a few days and wouldn't move from there. She gave up eating and decided to give up her life for him.She passed away exactly a week after the male.
@Bigdre Fromthebay they are soo loyal. He was soo close to his mom. Kicker was. My parents didn't tell me they were putting her down until after they buried her. I'm still not over that. She was my best friend and I always wanted to lay with her. Than I got really close to the boy. He needed a friend more than anything after that.
My husband passed away on March 30th and our Cody was given the opportunity to take his moment with him before they took him out. He sniffed him head to toe and back slowly twice and then he licked his face 4 times and jumped on his chair and watched them take him out and away. He sat in that chair for the next 4 days looking out the window and didn’t eat or drink anything during that time and only wanted to go out to go to the bathroom and then back to the chair and window. Today he is in his chair and waits for him to come home. He would not go into our bedroom and cried at the bedroom door. He knows that when I am crying I need him and he comes to me instinctively and gives me affection. We both miss him! Everyone around us tries to tell me that I need a small dog and he is too much for me. I feel like we are connected in ways that they don’t understand and I can’t trade him for a new model. I Love Cody and he Loves me and we are here for each other!
That just breaks my heart hun, they really are so precious and I know I’d be lost without my little boy by my side. I really do wish you all the best, an I hope great things happen for you
Thank You and I agree. I make my decisions and no one else is going to make me do anything to make or convince me to “trade” my best friend for a new model. They don’t understand the bond that forms with our furry friends. God knew that we needed each other and I told them that I am not going to allow them to tell me what to do! Especially concerning my Cody. When we didn’t know what was happening with my husband’s health, Cody knew. He kept putting his nose against his throat in the exact place where the first squamous cell carcinoma was found. We rode together 5 days a week and waited in the parking lot as he had chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Cody is an independent soul and generally prefers to sleep in his bed. He began jumping on our bed and sleeping on top of my husband’s pillow with his nose next to his throat. They said that they thought they may have gotten the cancer as it was too small to detect. They did new tests of cat and pet scans and found that his cancer had spread to the other side of his throat and lungs and original cancer was still there and growing back. They did a lung biopsy and collapsed his lung. My husband told them that he was not going to do any more treatments and was ready to face his future. They never removed the gtube in his stomach and 2 days before he passed away he sat up and forcibly pulled it out. He could not eat, chew, swallow or speak audibly. Cody laid at his side until his last day. No one is going to force or convince me of anything that concerns Cody or myself. My grown grandchildren drove to California and moved me to Arizona so they could help me as I am legally blind and don’t drive. I appreciate all that they are doing for me. However, Cody is my family and lifelong companion and I am firm about that! We need each other!
This is so touching. The dog's reaction is heartbreaking yet so wholesome. Awesome family was able to do this for their beloved pet. Even dressing the dogs up, the dog's tie was very dapper.
When my Grandfather was dying our Maltese wanted to get to him. If we let him he would not let anyone near him. Rocky loved my Grandfather so much. When he died Rocky stared at his empty chair. They do have deep feelings.
@@RLF1 I understand my friend. I think you will be so pleasantly and adorably surprised. God is also your Best Friend, and He cares about what you do.
