It won't, it would mean fewer people could create a server, and meaning fewer people will boost it. Think of it this way: You create a server without Nitro, and your friend wants to boost it; Discord gets money. But if you needed Nitro to do that, you wouldn't have created that server, thus Discord gets no money.

Venda casada avoids this by not legally letting the seller do this.

They should have artists commission emotes, stickers, and other personalization stuff and advertise it as such with a big payout for the artist (like 80-20 artist discord). I've never really had an issue with discord, its one of the few apps i don't mind supporting at the moment as long as things stay the way they are. I am not suprised with how big discord is becoming that they would need a paid tier, their biggest challenge is maintaining a good balance where your not required to pay to have a decent experience.

Instead of paying money for profile themes, discord themes, and profile effects, there should be a thing like party mode where the more active you are on discord, such as participating in activities, watching a share screen, being in a call or voice chat with people, or just talking, should all give you points which you can then use the points to purchase on the discord shop, and you get points faster with nitro.
The difference between this and Steam is that Steam isn't charging me or anyone else for avatar decor. I get Steam Points™ for free whenever I make a purchase on the platform, and use THOSE to get my cosmetics. Even when the points system went live, I was given a starting wallet of points to spend equal to what I would have if it existed since my account creation. Steam didn't have to do that for us, but they did anyways. But it looks like Discord wants us to already be paying them money, so that we can pay them more money with profile decorations that may or may not be giving me visual whiplash. Steam is based. Discord is not. I feel like your amazing channel wouldn't survive off covering Steam updates/drama because there's rarely anything to angry with Steam about, other than not being able to count to 3.

For example, you don't say "I clean me" you would say "I clean myself" because 'I' is the subject of that sentence. People tend to be afraid of using 'me' thinking it sounds informal or incorrect, but I have some advice: don't be afraid of using 'me.' If you just follow the rules of grammar, you should have nothing to fear.
I: Is used when you are the subject of a sentence. This means you use 'I' when you are the one in a sentence doing something. For example: "I am on discord"
Me: Is used when you are the object of a sentence, that means when you are in a sentence, but not the one directly doing the action. For example "There are lots of people on discord, including me."
Myself: This is the trickiest pronoun, because people tend to use it when they shouldn't. It is used as a reflexive pronoun *or* and intensifying pronoun when you say "I myself do something." People also sometimes confuse 'I' and "Myself" too! For example: "My friends, my sister, and myself" are going to be there, is a grammatically incorrect sentence. You wouldn't say "Myself is going to be there" you would say "I am going to be there." Just remember, don't make English grammar harder than it needs to be.

I've never really had an issue with discord, its one of the few apps i don't mind supporting at the moment as long as things stay the way they are.
I am not suprised with how big discord is becoming that they would need a paid tier, their biggest challenge is maintaining a good balance where your not required to pay to have a decent experience.

Instead of paying money for profile themes, discord themes, and profile effects, there should be a thing like party mode where the more active you are on discord, such as participating in activities, watching a share screen, being in a call or voice chat with people, or just talking, should all give you points which you can then use the points to purchase on the discord shop, and you get points faster with nitro.

The difference between this and Steam is that Steam isn't charging me or anyone else for avatar decor. I get Steam Points™ for free whenever I make a purchase on the platform, and use THOSE to get my cosmetics. Even when the points system went live, I was given a starting wallet of points to spend equal to what I would have if it existed since my account creation. Steam didn't have to do that for us, but they did anyways.
But it looks like Discord wants us to already be paying them money, so that we can pay them more money with profile decorations that may or may not be giving me visual whiplash. Steam is based. Discord is not.
I feel like your amazing channel wouldn't survive off covering Steam updates/drama because there's rarely anything to angry with Steam about, other than not being able to count to 3.

The Discord shop is cool and all, however it is so stupendous that you need nitro to use what you bought on the shop (ex: profile effects).
