    Thanks for documenting your entire process of coming off Suboxone. And not making it a horror story is definitely great to see

      That means a lot to me that you think that. By the way, I love you yt name. I need something inspirational like that lol. I chose a name that I was hoping no one would really find or search for.

    Bro you are doing great! The journey off suboxone is a winding road, my friend. There is absolutely no need to beat yourself up or feel discouraged about anything at all. You are the tip of the spear for the generations freeing themselves from these drugs.
    Btw that’s great advice about not laying in bed when you can’t sleep. Im going to do that from now on. Also, I lol about sneezing. I get them thrice myself. 🤣
    Regarding the Xanax, just follow your heart bro. I used it for the first few days. Sleeping is healing. But if you are super concerned then maybe stay away. In any case brother you are freakin’ awesome!! Keep it up!!

      Dude, I still need to look up Daily Fresh BJJ’s channel. I will probably check it right after this…considering I’m already in the app 🤣
      Thanks for the words of encourage. No reason to beat myself up is right. This isn’t easy, but it isn’t hard (when you’re prepared and ready)
      As far as xanax, I had it for the first 6 days and as much as I want it, I feel like I want to not let my mind wander down that road. Lots of other people told me to try Kratom (sp?) and kava tea. But after researching both items, I would still be pretty reliant on substances which my body doesn’t make naturally and my body (liver) has to work really hard to process and eliminate.
      So I’m taking my holistic nurses approach and trying for a natural detox from every to let my body heal. But fuck is that accurate, sleep in healing. I’m glad you said that. Always right when I seem to need it most I read some wisdom from you. Always appreciate you, you’re part of my story now whether you like it or not 🙏

      @@grapefruitsandwich7398 haha I said (and thought) the same thing - it’s not easy, but it’s not difficult either. Sub wd be like that I guess. Meh leave the Kratom it delays things and you have to take tons and tons of the shit and imo the constipation is even worse than subs. You’re doing fine brother one day at a time. One moment at a time if you need. Bro. You were at day 1 not long ago. Wtf! It’s God man. I’m not great at understanding Him but I try. He’s got you brother. Stay strong and know you are awesome. Proud to do life with you. 💪

    I am tapering this time a really slow taper but I have come off suboxone cold turkey a few times in the past. I do remember it got better at the end of the 3rd week. Please hang in there. Take the good with the bad. Alot of bodily functions return like sneezing yawning and sex drive. Those are good things. The insomnia and aches and pains are the worst. I am grateful I have seroquel for the sleep. Suboxone lowers hormones especially testosterone and hormones impact every single function in our body. My estrogen was almost 0. I had to get on hrt. Since you stopped suboxone your testosterone levels should return to normal so that's a positive. Having low testosterone can make you feel like crap and impact your body composition. You can get gelatinized maca root powder to help your testosterone to go back up faster. Keep going you are almost there. If you really need comfort meds for the next 10 days it'sOK. .

    I’ve been having trouble sleeping. I got to day 8 and after day four I couldn’t sleep. Between day 4 and 8 I got like 6 hours of sleep. Took a quarter of a pill and then went to sleep. Then went six days and same thing. The not sleeping is driving me nuts. But the one thing I’m
    Not doing is paying for them. I still have some but I’m just trying to push myself to not take them. My gf has them. But when they are gone it’s gonna be a hell of a lot harder than I’ve thought it’s been. I’ve had the restless leg or it feels like electricity running through my legs or hot ants crawling on me.

      I weened down to 1mg and sat there for over a year. Then the taper was rather quick. Once you get to 1mg it stops doing what it used to for you. Others will say it doesn’t and that 1mg is still REALLY strong.
      I used to think this too. After a year of being on 1mg my brain really detached from the subs and a lot of fog was lifted. It took time. I didn’t know if I was going the right way, but I kept going, and I’m so grateful I did. Life is amazing today.

      @@grapefruitsandwich7398What day did you start really noticing a difference with the withdrawal lifting? I’m currently passing day 7, and I jumped at 2mg, but honestly, I don’t feel bad. After day 5, I have felt so much better. I still have some minor physical symptoms, and sleep is not great, but I have never got this far, and my mental state helps. I think it must have to do with my metabolism, because I’ve heard so many horror stories. Thankfully, I’m not in that category.

    • @bobbybands1957
      @bobbybands1957 Месяц назад

      I tapered down from two 8mg strips per day to 2/3 of 1 strip over a period of about 6 months and so tomorrow morning will be day 7 cold turkey for me and to be honest it hasn't been that bad except for sneezing a lot. One thing I decided after being on this crap for 8 years is that it's mostly mind over matter and so I started my cold turkey with a kind of anger along with asking God to help me and it's working. Goodluck to you friend.
