I would like to suggest Lindemann "Home Sweet Home" with the accompanying fan-made video. The song shows you a completely different side of Till. The song is about cancer. The video shows how cancer works. Also very moving.

Till actually got the idea for this song when loosing a bet with some gay friends from another band. Because he lost he had to come with them to every gay club in Berlin.
The song is about being a gay man and actually about Tills jealousy for gay men.
When he whas out in theese clubs he noticed how easy it whas for gay men to get laid, he noticed how they only needed to look at eachother and they knew they where going home toghether.
And on the other hand he needed to go to several dates and buy gifts to get with a girl.
But this interwiev whas with Paul ( one of the guitarists ) and he's a bit known for making up funny stories, but it wery much sounds like something Till would do :)

Like every Rammstein song, the title is a play on words. It's both "head to head" or "face to face", but also "man (rubbing) against man". They tend to go to the tiny stage for this song and a couple of others. This is my favourite live performance by them. The blue lighting, the subject matter, Till's singing and of course the mic drop.
In that tour they had two stages, the main one you may have noticed in the Paris songs, and this tiny one, they were connected by a bridge that would come down from the ceiling so they could cross from one stage to the other, try to watch Bück dich from Paris or any other concert in 2012 so you can see the bridge part and the effect they have in that song
Bück Dich from Montreal. There you can see it really good. ;-)
Thgey don't just use the bridge, in some conzerts, they move back from the small to the mainstage in rubberboeats ON the crowd!
@@McTabler yeah, but that's in the 2019 tour, this is from the 2012 Made in Germany times, in 2019 everything is on another level, the mini stage is not so mini and they have company there while they sing Engel together with the whole stadium full of people, then they go back to the main stage on 3 rubber boats over the fans

So they do 3 songs on this side stage. Bück Dich (which I would absolutely love to see you guys react to), Mann Gegen Mann, and Ohne Dich. But Bück Dich is how they got onto that side stage and let me say it is an experience to watch lol
‘Mann gegen Mann’ not only means head to head, but also literally ‘male against male’. It supports what you also said about the backstory of this song in a explicit way.

Till actually has had that blood on his arms since when they performed Mein Teil in the show. And hell yeah it was a show lol. I'd love to see you guys react to more Paris Live Video, its pretty hard since not all the performances were shown on RUclips and ofc the videos will often get blocked. I have a few I want you guys to see but you'll either have to buy the Paris Live (on CD is probably the best or maybe Amazon Prime). You could also try searching for Paris Live performances online but most of them are from various shows and not the Paris one. Let me know what you think once you have read this!

If you wanna see the song before this one, which shows the really cool way they got to this small stage from their main one, watch Buck Dich live from Montreal in 2012. There's not a pro-shot version of the song from this tour that I've found online (except in the official Rammstein: Paris film but it's not here for free). There is from another tour in the 90s but it's not got the production level of this one. I will say that if you do a react to it, it'll have to be age restricted...just gonna leave it there so as to not spoil the surprise.
This song is actually about the homoeroticism of a fight mano-i-mano. It's basically the Beach Volleyball Scene from Top Gun, broken down into what it actually is.
@Necramonium I disagree. He says he is the corner of all rooms for example, the nightmare of every father, his sex calls him a traitor, etc. The song is about a Gay man's feeling towards his homosexuality. He both accepts it and seems almost proud of it, but the song also deals with the way society makes him feel for simply being human. This is an extremely progressive song and it was written in 2004.
Top Gun is the gayest movie of all time.
No they didn't do the whole show there.. Saw this tour when they came to Chicago. About halfway through the set they come out to this stage in the center of the pit, and played Buck Dich, Mann Gegen Mann, and I think one other song if I remember right.
They had a ramp that came down from the ceiling to allow them to walk out to the smaller stage and back.

I'm a huge fan of your channel and super hyped that you guys have become fans of our nation's biggest and best band.
I can only highly recommend you two watch the official music videos (perhaps even chronologically) 🙏 the lyrics and storytelling is just unreal, imo even better than the live performances.

Rammstein is not the best german band especially in Metal there are plenty more. legends like Accept. Helloween, Grave DIgger, Blind Guardian, Kreator, Sodom, Tankard, Destruction and many more......

Till is not bleeding, the "Blood" cames from the Sond "Mein Teil", they played bovor this song in Paris.
And not just Paris. ;) "Mein Teil" performance same every location (except on 2019's Stadium Tour,where they put some extra elements in the perform ),but I think you already knew this. :)

There is a fanvideo from Montreal. Soundquality is not as good, but somehow the energy is better captured than in this over the top-caleidoscope video.
Yes, I like this also more than this one. And I make Videos on my own as a ongoing Filmmaker, becuse I am in the last year of my Film & TV Production studies. Otherones from Paris are much better, but in this Akerlund overdid it for me.;-)

Recommandation : Brutus - SUGAR DRAGON (Live in Ghent). I think you'll love it. This song is absolutely beautiful and the live version is really better.

It was a b stage. They played 4 songs out there in middle of show. saw this same tour front row in Montreal!!
One of my favourite Rammstein songs.
Rammstein are a weapon live and the incredible crowd control is a trademark of them and no matter in which country they play, the audience sings in German like in Paris.🆒.
By the way Til does this specific move cause he had dislocated his knee before a concert and repeatedly hit it in the backstage area to reduce it. The other band members found this movement totally cool so that he took it over for the stage !
Apart from the fact that Til is a trained pyrotechnician, at Rammstein concerts a special stage worker is very close to the stage and is connected by a microphone to the person who controls the fire. He feels the temperature on his cheek and gives corresponding instructions whether you can still step it up a notch or the flames have to be reduced.

Please look at the live performance of "Ich will" - ruclips.net/video/QkBPoGCPE04/видео.html - "Rock am Ring" is one of the biggest festival events in Germany. The Ring, which we say, is the legendary Formula 1 race track "Nürburgring"(The green hell), located in the middle of a central mountain of Germany, the "Volcano - Eifel". Rammstein was the Headliner and there are more than 85000 fans on the target line and I was right in the middle 😜 😉 and not only the few thousand hardcore fans directly in front of the stage answer Til's questions, but actually the entire audience down to the last row - INCREDIBLE 👍 !
At some point Ramstein discovered that you can make up with instant coffee. According to concentration, black to red spots appear, which looks like dirt or blood. Flake was hyper nervous all the time during an earlier tour. What did he forget ? That he was made up with lots of coffee in the evening during every concert 😂 - Maybe the reason why he needs a treadmill 😄😉
But without Flake Rammstein would never have been what they are. Again and again he is only moved into the nerd corner and underestimated enormously. What most people remember is only the treadmill he is running on while playing. Most of the Rammstein pieces are backed by a mostly inconspicuous but sometimes bombastically symphonic sound body combined with techno elements and so much more. It´s done so cleverly that it is hardly noticeable in the foreground. But if you take it out of the equation and mix it away at the mixer console, the rest sounds almost like any metal band. Together with the typical Rammstein monster guitar riffs the keyboards in the background fill up the entire sound, make things round, and not at least because of this Rammstein sound so unique !

Exactly this concert in Germany took place about 20 km from where I lived and you could still hear it over a hill in between and see the light show flickering in the distance. You could clearly experience the sound level at which Rammstein are traveling 💥🙉 🤯

As far as I know(I've only been able to see them live 3 times, so not really sure)they perform 2 or 3 songs on a 'smaller' stage during their concerts, they get from the main stage to the smaller one via a bridge/walkway over the crowd. I also heard or read somewhere(sorry can't remember where)that the reason they do this is to stay connected to when the first started out and played smaller venues with smaller stages, but I'm not 100% sure
Rammstein songs are pure energy and whoever can keep his butt still while listening to them should see a doctor as soon as possible.😉

IIRC the only to songs they did on that tiny stage in the middle, where Bück Dich & Mann gegen Mann.
There should be some Bück Dich videos from a show they did in Montreal(iirc) that shows them entering that small stage... In a rather unique fashion... Though I'd say, before you watch that, you should check out the official music video for Mein Teil, if you haven't already, since that part of the show is a reference to a part of the Mein Teil Video. That's why Schneider, the drummer, was wearing a blonde wig as well.

Was rhis same tour im orher venues they used the rubber dinghy? Or was THAT previous tour. Bridge was only in Paris for the DVD RECORDING. But small stage was uses elsewhere.
Bridge was used in London as well.

They only play a few songs on this stage - if you want to know how they get there, you should watch "Bück dich Live in Montreal 2012". But be careful, that might be the most explicit Rammstein live performance you have seen ;)
Is this from the Paris dvd? I have owned it for years but never seen beyond the first 5 minutes as the constant camera cuts hurt my head.

Man against man or man verses man does mean "head to head". But Man against man is a better translation in that instance as the double meaning of those words probably don't need any explanation after watching the video.

That stuff on Till's arm is probably fake blood. Rammstein often said that they also smear liquid coffee on their arms to make them look dirty. He also had blood on his arms at the beginning of the Madison Square Garden concert.

Yesss, I agree! They're an amazing band! They have so many good songs it's hard to recommend a single one. I would also recommend my favourite - Die Durch Die Hölle Gehen. But there's also:

Pick anything they've created and it's golden. Really, they're amazing. Also, their 2020's cover album (Schicksalsmelodien) is a memory trip for many middle Europeans (cheers from Poland btw, lol). Great stuff.
As a side note:
The singer (Alexx Wesselsky) created this band after leaving Megaherz, which is also a Neue Deutsche Härte band, but they don't use as many synths nowadays. Megaherz went through a bunch of singers and other band members since their creation and their albums vary in musical style quite a bit, they've been around for a long while. I tend to stick with their older content, it's not representative of how they sound today, you should check both new and old and decide for yourself which you prefer.

Zu Den Sternen,
and my ultimate favourite - Augenblick
(2004 version, NOT the piano one). It's a masterpiece, I don't think they've ever done a similar song to this one, so it's truly one of a kind. Very different from their usual stuff.

The new album is very fun, I especially like FAKK, Dagegen and Kontrollverlust. I'm currently waiting for the pandemic to end so I can drive to Germany for a live show. I need to see them live.

Vielleicht der beste und melodischste Song von Rammstein. Wie man mit brachialer Musik das Thema "schwul" besingen kann, ist eine Meisterleistung. Vielleicht auch das beste Video von Rammstein.
Allerdings kommen die Schwulen dann doch nicht so gut weg, wie ihr einige schreiben.

The blood is fake blood they put on him for their Mein teil song.
It's half the fun if you don't understand the lyrics. I speak german and i guess the video would be sensored if youtube understood the lyrics.
