I own a 2003 , very capable little rig has factory limited slip rear narrow body for tight spots . Many times I thought I would never make it there but did handles ruts wells ,but I have 46 years four wheel drive experience and reading the right line to take helps !
This is one AWESOME Video of this truck !!!!! I was asleep and am now WIDE awake after this , I just bought an '03 Xterra , even in 2016 , it's an awesome awesome vehicle !!!!!! I love it !!!!! Well done and thanks for the upload , I hope I have some good years with it 👍🏻💪💪💪💪💪💪
loved my 2002 back in the day...fast forward to 2021, just last week picked up my 2015 Pro4X with about 50k miles on it. Its going to be a weekend/beach trip vehicle since I have other vehicles, but man I missed this platform..only thing is the newer ones are going for over $30k these days...crazy market right now for used vehicles!
Ours was a 2003 4x4 v6 very reliable ,mileage not bad 18-20 mpg , rugged built , four wheeled all over southern California desert ,Afton canyon , Mojave Road , Kofa mountains , Bradshaw trail
i have exact Nissan exterra (2002) and in LOW 4x4 it will ROCK CLIMB!!! AWESOME!!!only timne i found i could use hub locks is when it was almost vertical!
I'm trying to get the guy that sold me my honda civic to trade me for a 2002 terra he has!! Awesome video!! After seeing this I gotta have one! They beat all other suvs!!!!!
I used to have a 2003 Nissan Xterra just like this but it was an SE model and it was blue and it has run for a 21 years it still works but the catalytic converter is broken and I can't spend any more money on it and the tires get marked for towing after one day of having It parked (it is used) I'm going to miss the thing:(
When I bought it the front sway bar was loose. That was a simple fix and it hasn't given me any problems since. The AC did go out a couple years ago but that was fixed with a simple O-ring replacement. Other than that the car has given me ZERO problems.
Actually no, the vehicle was new to me at the time and I hadn't figured out you have to push the 4x4 lever inward to switch into 4 low. So this is all in 4 high.
Yo no sé que pasa con este vehículo las personas que visto que compran este vehículo no duranaa de un años con ellos tengo entendido que gasta mucho combustible bueno tiene una caja muy grande y muy pesada

I've done some mountain off-roading in a stock 2003 Xterra. Thing was a true Billy goat! It always surprised me with it's capability in stock form
Cemented my decision to buy an older Xterra
Me too
Absolutely love the Xterra. I have an 05 Escape right now. Next vehicle will be an Xterra.
And I'm sold, time to find one in decent shape lol
Update, I know own one lol

I live in NW MO. where are you filming this at? oh and my next vehicle is definitely an xterra
+MO AK Xterras are pretty awesome vehicles. This is a little place on the west side of Springfield.
Man, cool video.
Is this a good car overall? Does it break down a lot (especially given its age)?
Keep it up.

No lift kit needed, although I imagine it's a good idea.
I feel sorry for that xterra here in new jersey they don't work to hard ,like that one
What tire size are those?

V6?
Diego Duran yup
where is this?
+Cougartron South west Missouri
The positives... full frame, reliable, good ground clearance. The negative... very under powered, bad gas mileage.
You know they make these with a v6 and v6 supercharged, yeah? I wouldn't say "very" underpowered
Not “very”, but compared to 2nd gen 4.0 there is a lot of difference.
@@Agent.K. doesn’t accelerate the same . That 3.3 supercharged stock is absolutely insane
