Question, I'm a drinker but my wife is not and obviously my kids don't as well. Can I pay for the delux package just for myself ONLY, and as for my wife get her the mid tier package? I haven't seen anyone explain it in detail if we can separate packages per person.
@@SaL-ep7zb thank you for your question. If this is the case, Royal can often make an exception, but you or your travel agent would need to call into Royal to request this. They will most likely require that your wife purchase the refreshment package. I have done this for my clients, but it is an exception and needs to be called into Royal directly. They make this exception on a case by base basis. Hope this helps!
Is it still worth it if you are a suite guest? You get some included drinks with that - in the lounge. Thx

@@twinpalmstv It's the Sky level Crown Loft suites. I think we get free drinks and appetizers in the lounge from 5-8 but no other free drinks. I booked the drink package but may cancel. Figured I'd lock in a price like you said.
This was a very informative video. Our drink package with gratuity is $1420 which is very expensive. I’m waiting to see if the price goes down, but I feel we’ll get our monies worth.

Can u purchase for one person only
You can but it’s an exception that must be made by calling Royal Caribbean. If one person purchases the deluxe drink package, but the other person does not want to, that 2nd person must at least purchase the refreshment package. Hope this helps!

Bottom line is ALL drinks onboard is one of the most profitable areas for Royal, be it purchased through drink packages OR individual drinks. Our family does not drink a lot (we may have two or three alcoholic drinks on an entire 7 day cruise) plus, we are Diamond C&A so we get four free inclusive drinks per day (alcoholic or not). Also, strike up a good relationship with a bartender and they'll gladly give you free bottle water or soda when you get an alcoholic drink (of course you always tip).

It's too expensive. Even more so if like me your partner does not drink that much.

Do you get water in the rooms?
Hi! No, not for free. If you want water you can purchase a package of water and have it delivered to your room. Or if you have the drink package that I mentioned in the video bottled water is included. Hope this helps!
