- Today Amigos I decided to do a test print using a screen I exposed with my new Exposure Unit. The print didn't come out as I expected and realized I had a print issue that needs to be resolve.

we're going to turn that rooster into mole one of this days lol
Haha. I know right.
Keep at it! 👍🏼
Thanks, I will.
Those Arnold Schwarzenegger forearms are coming in. Almost flipped the press over LOL.
Haha. I know right
cool video antonio try the same print on your aluminium screens great job
Would but I don't have yellow mesh aluminum screens.
Could your screen be too loose on the frame and dragging as you pull, causing the ink to go in a weird pattern on the shirt?
I can see that as a possibility because these wood screens don't have high tension. Another reason I want to move away from them, they get loose easily.
Good work amigo 👍👍👍
Thank You Amigo
Usted es un tigre en este arte Man . saludos
Gracias Amigo
i got the canon printer too but i couldnt get it to print dark at all. the epson printed darker. i wanna say its the screen/ burn time/ washout and maybe the printer. i would also get lines like that when i was underexposed and the water left marks on screen from emulsion when it was drying
Yes, a lot of factors can go in exposing screens. I still need to redo this test to find out what went wrong. Cause test each factor.
Awesome video amigo!! I'm with Juan I love me some mole
Thanks. Lol
The DPI is set wrong for the screen
Cmyk too if you have time thanks a lot my bro
definitely, it' something I'm still trying to learn.
Bro i liked your videos i learn a lot from you keep it up buddy I'am also starting my screen printing here from Canada i hoping for more video bro.
What Printer do you used for your Image
Glad you enjoy the videos Amigo. I appreciate your comment and will be working on more videos. Oh, and I use the Canon Pixma IX6820
If it's the same printer I have the Canon Pixma iX6820
Theres a video on it how to set it up to get real dark films ...ifs it's not the printer it may be the emulsion wash out ..let me see if I can find that video
I believe it's the Emulsion or the washout but still interested in that video. It will help out. My films are dark but I know they can get darker.
that looks pretty good Antonio! did you use the same screen mesh count as the last one?
Thanks. And now that I just remembered, I didn't. This time it was a 90t(230) and the one I used on the old video was a 305 mesh. Guessing that also affected my print.
Different mesh and different lpi needed if changed in bitmap maybe thats why it came out like that
Yea, I just realized I used a different mesh on this one and I can't exactly remember what I did in Photoshop for this film. I just remembered I had the file saved already before I made that RUclips tutorial. So idk. Lol. May have to do it again following my steps but for a larger print size.
The Ink Build Up I like to put the mesh count and lpi on my film to know if I ever need to burn the same image and just tape off that info on the screen.
Great tip.
Hello from Greece Antonio! I am thinking to start screen printing. I noticed several days ago that my cannon when the ink is at low level is it doing some almost cant see lines in the printing! If your ink level is low maybe this caused those lines pattern
Hello Amigo. And yes, when you have low ink, it can cause some lines in the prints. But I don't have that weird pattern on my films since I did check.
Mi hermano! The tension on that screen looks very low. For halftones, you want a nice high tension to keep things more consistent. There are like 50 variables, from squeegee angle, speed, pressure, flood pressure, print direction, etc... tight screen mesh will really help you.
Thanks, and yes, I do believe it was my screen. These wood screens have horrible tension. Another reason I want to upgrade to aluminum screens.
I know Im randomly asking but does any of you know a method to log back into an instagram account?
I stupidly forgot my account password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me.
@Keegan Gordon instablaster ;)
@Matias Trevor thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im in the hacking process now.
Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Matias Trevor it did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thank you so much, you really help me out :D
I personally like pushing better
Sometimes I like pushing as well, but I got used to pulling.
@@TheInkBuildUp I pushed for the first 5 years trust me. Your gonna want to push lol
Lol. Will try to push more often to see what works best for me.
its the screen .. recheck it..
Yes, it's looking like it.
What’s up bro its been a long time how are things going with the shop
I know, thanks for asking. And I'm doing good, just decided to take a little break since I got burned a little from this youtube, shop, work, and personal life. But will be getting back to it in a few days.
It’s all good bro don’t give up keep pushing we believe in you and we hope you upload more videos soon you have inspired many people so keep up the good work. That passion will come back soon
what mesh count did you use?
If I remember correctly. It was a 305 mesh. (120T)
How to make htn in corel draw
Sorry, don't know how to use Corel.
can we cure the ink with only heat gun ?
Yes you can. But if you're curing a large print with more than 10 shirts, it will take you a long time. You can still do it, but again it will take awhile. If you're just starting out it's totally fine to cure with a heat gun. Minimum I would recommend a heat press. Fast to cure and you can do heat transfer and sublimation.
having the same problem did anyone find the solution? i also got a new printer
i get this wierd pattern too and im using a
I still want to give this test another try with a better tension screen to see what's causing it.
@@TheInkBuildUp i figured it out bro! it has to be your exposure times. it has to be exact. i thought it was the film, but it was actually the new emulsion i was using. it was overexposing by a little bit. so it may this weird pattern. i was using aluminum screens its not your tension trust. As well check your frequency of halftone.
@@muhammadmalik7066 Thanks. Will definitely try to find the correct time. Need to get this right.
@@TheInkBuildUp update its the angle. should not be 45 degrees hope that helps
