I was just there last week and I had a blast. I did get to do the Tantulum the newest water tubing ride. There is a weight restriction of approximately 700lbs for a group of 4. I rode with only 1 other person though. 300lb weight limit for an individual. The walk up to the ride be prepared it’s a long walk and if you are afraid of heights consider fuego that way you are unaware of how high you are. If you are an adventurer like me then GO FOR IT! I would love to do it again and this was a bucket list for me at age 54
Awesome review. My family is plant based and even places that have vegan options usually do not have protein so I'd need to bring my own food. Do you know if they allow that? 2. any idea which days might be less crowded. Will be there the week of June 24th and my 5 year old doesn't have a ton of patience (working on that). I want to manage expectations on wait times and maybe we only do a couple activities. 3. How cold is the water?
Yes you can bring your own food. All days are busy as it’s a popular park. Just pay attention to the sign with the wait times, and pick your activities based on that. That’s my strategy, and I’ve never had to wait longer than a few minutes for any activity. Water is a bit cool, about the same as a swimming pool. You get used to it quickly.
@@sonasp1961they’ll accept Mexican pesos and USD. If you want to pay by card, you have to ask upfront as some taxis don’t have the card reader. And there’s usually a small fee to pay by card.
I haven’t been to Xplor Fuego since they added the underground expedition, so I was going by what their site was showing. Thanks for the correction, I wish I knew this before I published the video 😅
@@TulumToCancun No worries...I see that it's not listed on their web site either but we for sure did it when we went as it was something new that we hadn't done before and we were gearing up for a Mud Run so I was excited that it was something kind of similar. We are going again in December so I will check and fingers crossed we can do it again. But maybe it has switched since we last went.
Yes it’s cold, but nothing too bad. It’s like most pools or cenotes, once you adjust, it’s fine. I’ve been to Xplor in January and water temperature wasn’t an issue for anyone in our group.
I didn’t arrange the transportation with the park. Can you arrange a taxi from there at the end? I heard they have a list of prices in the last gift shop. Or do they have cans waiting? Thanks great video by the way 👍🏼
Yes they have taxis nearby ready to pick you up. Once you exit the gift shop, ask one of the park employees working at the exit to get a taxi for you. There’s a sign with the prices posted based on your destination.
He should be able to participate in all the activities at both parks, so it depends on your preference. Xplor is a little more intense, Xcaret is a longer day of a lot of "low impact" attractions. I also have a video of Xcaret on my channel, have a look at both and decide which appeals to you more. Or if you can, do both!
I am 86 yrs old and walk with a cane. I enjoyed your video and am thinking about visiting this park. One concern I have are the zip lines, which I have done before in the Yucatan. Are these zips one long ride or are there a number of stations for a zipline ride ie last time I went we had around 7 stations getting off, climb above you, and hook up again, just to complete the ride. Please help if you can. Thank you
There are several towers that you have to climb. There are 7 towers in each circuit, if I recall correctly. There are plenty of stairs to climb throughout the circuit, and in some cases the stairs are the steep kind that you climb like a ladder. I hope that helps answer your question.
I am really interested and I think I’m going this August , to have. A great time what’s a budget range you think will be spent to enjoy a week of Xplor , Xcaret ,xelha and xenses ? The 4 places?
You can check the exact cost of each park on their websites. Xplor and Xel-Ha are all inclusive, so your ticket covers everything, including food. For Xcaret, you’ll have to cover your own food so budget for that as well. Those are the best parks from the group so you’ll have an amazing time.
I want to take my boys and husband when we go at the end of the month. My boys love adventure and all things fast and furious. I, do NOT like any of that. Can i still go without doing zip lines and other too extreme things?
Also do you have to complete ALL of the zip lines? I hear it takes about 2 hours to complete. Or can you do a few and then hop on to the next activity?
The zip lines are a circuit, so you go from one tower to the next until you finish the circuit. I’ve only seen people get off mid way due to some kind of problem, like being scared or feeling unwell, otherwise you gotta finish the circuit you’re on. There are two zip line circuits, so you could choose to do just one if you want to save time.
Do you know the age limit for any of these adventure parks. I see answers from age 4 minimum to age 8 minimum, then I see videos with babies and toddlers underground with life jackets. I have a 3.5 year old and she's above 3 feet.
The minimum age listed on the website is 5 years old. The minimum height varies with each activity, but most require a minimum height of 3.6ft/1.1m. Toboganxote's height requirement is 4.2ft/1.3m. If you want my opinion, I'm taking my family to Xcaret Park this year and we'll do Xplor in a year or so. My son is almost 5 but I think some activities may still be a bit too intense for him, so I'll take him to Xplor later on when I think he'll enjoy it more. You may also want to look into Xel-Ha, I have a video on all these parks.
Hi sir . thank you so much for such detailed instructions. It will save a lot of time and help in planning our day . sir i have questions . I have go pro and insta 360 which mount will they allowed me to make videos .
A hands free mount that can attach to the helmet is allowed. I don’t know about 360 cams since they need to stick out a bit, you may not be able to use those on some activities.
Uber has had some opposition from the taxi union, and even though it’s legal now, it’s still a bit tough so I wouldn’t recommend it. I’d recommend a taxi or the colectivo, or buy the transportation option direct from the park when you buy your tickets.
The minimum age listed online is 5, and most activities have a height requirement of 3.6ft. The togobanxote has a higher height requirement of 4.2ft, so a 5 year old should be fine.

I was there 6 years ago and I loved it. It was the highlight of our trip. Going back in October...I can't wait! 😃😄
It’s also the highlight of our trip whenever we go, you’ll love the new additions to the park. Enjoy!
I’m also going on October. Any recommendations for my first time going there??
I went there last month in my cruise and it was amazing 🤩

Great review, thanks for sharing. Do they have taxi's outside of this park or do you need to book or walk to a specific location to get them?
They have taxis at the exit or nearby. If you dont see one, you can ask an employee and they’ll call one to come
Brill. Do you know if they accept card (contactless payments), peso or dollar in the taxi?

Is the underground expedition not being included in Fuego a new thing? We were able to do it when we went in 2022.

Does a lot of water get in your face (like is it a good chance you can swallow water) on the Hammock splash or any ziplines that go in the water?
It’s fairly shallow so that wasn’t an issue for me personally.

how much was the photo package? and is it per family or per person?
Check the Xplor website for photo package prices. There’s a small increase in cost for each person you want to add to the package.
