OTIS Series 1 Hydraulic Elevator - REI - San Francisco, CA

[Recorded 6-17-22] This was pretty funny. There's an OTIS with Series 1 fixtures tucked in the corner of this store. Somebody had left it on Independent Service and there were signs that hinted they had no idea what was wrong with the elevator. After the video, we went over to some employees and explained what was wrong with the elevator and asked if we could "fix" it for them. A simple turn of the key put it back in normal operation, leaving them quite pleased and us quite satisfied that we could help someone out haha.

Cant believe a manager or somebody didnt have a key seems like you might need that in case of a fire or emergancy but hey its rei i doubt anyone really uses that thing

Haha too bad you didn’t record the interaction you talked about in the description.
Also speaking of the description, I’m blind and have a screen reader on my phone read me all this stuff and for context it talks pretty fast. At the end of the description, I thought you said, “leaving them quite pleased and unsatisfied,” and I was like what in the world lol.
