Let me break it down to you; Jungkook didn't want to get married. He has a sister, Jenny. His mother liked Jimin and gave him the ring. Jungkook hadn't seen Jimin. Jimin had seen Jungkook's pic and liked him a lot. Jimin was his parent's only child and was treated to lovedly that he always thought that he's adorable. He was decent, nice and good looking.
