1. Whether you completed the bachelor's degree based on Part-time or full-time schedule does not matter. It had to be a degree from an accredited university. 2. Correct. So based on your current situation, your timeline is quite tight. IRCC only counts 30 hours max per week. You can work more hours to make more money but still, the max number of hours that can be counted by IRCC is 30 hours per week. You can combine jobs to make 30 hours per week, or have jobs before and after. Based on your 2018.09 date, counting fwd 5 years, you need to start a full-time job right away after you enter Canada, and it has to be full-time, and you cannot be laid off.

You can get your OWP first, start working, and also do a PGD with an SP. If you finish the PGD online via HK while working in Canada, you qualify for Stream B, and don't need SP. If you did it locally, you need SP and you will qualify for Stream A.
@@mick7827 yes, but you need to have a study permit, and be here in Canada to attend for at least 50% of the duration of the designed program length. If the program says that it does not quality for study permit, then you may be affected.
It is better you use your 17 grad to apply for OWP first. Then you can arrive in Canada and do a 1year post grad dip in Canada, or online from Canada to do a 1yr post grad dip in HK. Then use that new grad to apply for PR. The PGD outside of Canada requires ECA.

@@kumabrownynot exactly. What I mean is two options: 1. Enter Canada with OWap based on your 17grad. And then: 2a. Do a Canadian 1yr PGD, or 2b. Do a 1yr HK PGD online while you are in Canada.
1. Age is never a requirement. Please do not factor that into the picture anymore. 2. Your degree is too old to qualify for stream B. 3. You can do 2yr diploma in Canada you qualify for stream A. 4. If you do a diploma in hk, you will miss the deadline for OWP. So the only choice left for you is to do a 2yr diploma in Canada to qualify for stream A.
If you are taking a 2yr diploma from Canada, then you don't need to worry about prerequisites. You can start that next year and if you graduate on time, you will be on time for Stream A. But make sure it is a full-time 2yr diploma from a public college. Upon graduation, you apply for PR under Stream A, and also apply for PGWP to stay in Canada while you wait for approval.

We were informed that Flight school is a trade school but not an academic qualification, and Not eligible for stream A. You may want to check with iRCC.
The diploma had to be equivalent to a two year fool time program. It can taker longer than two years if it is fine part time. If I is two years part time, it likely won't qualify.
1. I have said this many times now. Yes you can hold both. 2. If you go for stream A, the deadline is 2026.08.31. Get a DLI that also is eligible for PGWP, do you can apply for PGWP and have implied status to stay, while you ALSO apply for Stream A and wait for your PR to process.

I applied for a WES. Just saw that Canadian Equivalency: College level certificate (one Year). I graduated with my advanced diploma (Part-time) in HK in May 2021. whether I don't have the qualification to apply OWP? I have no idea whether the diploma for a minimum 2-year program is. You can study but you need a study permit. For stream b, you need to finish your 1560 of and legal work on payroll with deductions and apply for PR by 2024 January before your graduation date. If your study for a two year fool time post secondary diploma here, or any degree, then your stream b deadline is 2026.08.31
You may be able to still get the study permit if you have a good Study Plan. Leaving one parent alone and taking 2 kids away may have risks. If you think the country is good, then parents should create the new life with kids. You can work and make money in Canada too, you know!
You need to be in Canada for least half the duration on the length of the entire study program. Which means, even if you receive transfer credit is able to shorten the program, you still need to physically be in Canada for at least 50% of the time required for the entire program. Also, no SP is required if your program is 100% online. You need to get into Canada by other means.

Must be listed as a post secondary diploma designed to be done in two years by full time. You can fast track or the program can be accelerated and still qualify. Best to email the school and have them confirm in writing. Then you save that email and attach as proof when you apply for PR.
I have " Diploma in Social Service in 2015 & Diploma in Geriatric Care in 2019 " part time study for 2years in Hong Kong, so I can under stream B apply to Canada ? and I want to apply Canada study visa to study certificate in VCC for sample study Baking certificate , after that can match stream A ?

If your 2015 diploma was a full time 2yr HD, and your 2019 grad was a POST GRAD DIP (something that reissues a graduation at post secondary level before your can apply for it), then you qualify for stream B and can apply for an OWap note, but your need to do ECA. 2. If your Canadian banking program is 2yrs full time, then you don't need to worry about your HK credentials. But if your baking program is only 1yr, you likely won't qualify because your 2019 dip was not a full time post secondary program of two years or more.
We do not have a definitive answer for that. From what we understand from Stream B, it doesn't say you need to apply using the same qualification as the one you applied for OWP.

Your 2016 grad hard to be a degree or a HD of at least two years full time from an accredited institution. Your 2021 September start should be in Canada for a 1yr post grad diploma from a DLI. At least 50% of the time of the full program length you need to be in Canada. You need to find a way to get into canada. 100% programs are not eligible for SP normally. Best that your are in Canada for more time. How do you know you want to stay in Canada is your are not willing to stay here even for school.
I am in HK now. I have a Bachelor degree got from HK however more than 5 years ago. Also, I am currently studying a Higher Diploma of Civil Engineering in VTC, which will graduate on Sep 2023. Actually according to the VTC program design, once I complete 5 semesters of this higher diploma program, I will be given Diploma qualification on May 2022 (total 9 semesters). So first, can I get OWP? If not, is there any other way I could apply for Canada PR or work permit? Thank you
Is VTC is HK or Canada? If it is in Canada, and If your diploma is a post-secondary diploma (i.e. requiring highschool graduation), and that is at least two academic years long fulltime by design (can be accelerated), then you qualify for Stream A. You can apply for PR via stream A after your graduation. You should apply for Postgraduate work permit upon graduation as well, so you can legally stay and work in Canada. If it is in HK, then you need to make sure you actually will receive a diploma by May 2022. If you only get it by Sept 2023, you will be too late.

The deadline for OWP application is 2023.02.06. You may not have enough time. If you plan to spend time and money to study, you may also consider studying in Canada, in which case you can qualify for stream A, and the deadline is 2026.08.31.
For stream A, you need to show you have graduated from a Canadian program, with at least 50% of the duration of the original program while you were physically present in Canada. You need to decide whether you actually want to stay in Canada for the rest of your life. If you think being in Canada for your academic program is too much to bear, Canada may not be for you.
Graduation from a Canadian two year post sec dip qualifies you for stream a if your school is on the IRCC DLI list. I can't answer anything related to EE as I have no knowledge of that.

Have you checked the IRCC DLI list? The last column is eligibility for post graduate work permit. Upon graduation, you need to have a legal status to stay and work. If your program is eligibility for PGWP, then you bank apply for that young your graduation and have implied status even whole you wait for it. At that time, you will apply for PR via stream A. The pGWp will cover your legal status to stay and work while you wait fruit your PR to be approved. If not, then you will need other ways.

What is that for? If you are looking for that for a case involving arrest, charge, and conviction, I strongly suggest you to not handle it yourself. The case has more than translation requirements. You only have one change because popo will know that you are leaving.

You don't qualify for any stream based on your current situation. You need to redo your education and then you can qualify for stream a. It is very clear. It is the degree that is eligible. Make sure your wall paper says degree, with a date of no older than 5 years from the time your apply for OWP. You are eligible for OWP, not stream B directly. Only after you get your OWP and work in Canada for at least 1560 hours, calculating only 30 hours a week max, and your apple for PR AFTER you finish this work experience, that is stream B.. And at that time of PR application, your education would STILL be no older than 5 years.

Your graduate date needs to be NO MORE THAN 5 YEARS OLD from the DAY YOU APPLY FOR STREAM B. Stream B is eligible only AFTER you have accumulated one year of work experience. Your graduation date should be not older than 5 years by the time you finish your 1yr work experience and when you apply.

You need to apply for OWP first, using your U of Melbourne Masters, with ECA. Then you with the OWP, you can enter Canada to work for a year, then apply for stream B.
As said many time already, you can combine multiple part-time jobs at the same time, or different jobs before and after, to make 1560 hours. But you can only count 30 hours per week even if you work more than that.
Eligible for OWP but you only have till 2022 November to finish 1560 hours of Canadian work experience, AND submit PR application via stream B. You cannot fasttrack because IRCC only counts 30 hours of work per week, regardless of how many hours you do.

It is the same GC Key for applying study permit and SOWP. When you answer the questionnaire, the system will determine if it is SOWP.

請問如果15年畢業於香港中文大學，17年入讀加拿大designated learning institution的航空學校，19年5月取得認可Canadian commercial pilot’s license. 21年取得該航空學校教官職位，可以用stream A 申請PR嗎？因為我哋不知航空學校的license是否等同於所謂的大專學歷？

Flight colleges are vocational colleges and most likely not recognized for Stream A.

我都有疑問呀，爬完文，睇完官網個Policy都唔多理解..想行B計劃，請問，我理解得岩唔岩..知道owp同pr係2樣野，owp批咗要係要係批後3年內到加拿大工作，而個owp批咗唔等於已發出簽證，因為個owp簽證係要在加拿大機場發出，所以係由發出簽證果日先開始計3年。

1. OWP is only for you to work. You need to accumulate enough experience to qualify for PR.
2. OWP is approval online but the isn't is issued at the airport. The 3 years start counting from that day on.
3. 2019 grad diploma qualifies you to apply for OWP, but requires ECA.
4. OWP submission deadline is 2023.02.06. but you you decide you apply on the last day, and entry on the last day of the 3 years, you won't have enough to accumulate enough work experience before the 2026.08.31 PR deadline. Suggest you get here asap to finish your 1560 hours ofwork experience. IRCC Only counts 30 hours per week, even if you work more than that.

I graduated with my advanced diploma (Part-time) in HK in May 2021. whether I don't have the qualification to apply OWP? I have no idea whether the diploma for a minimum 2-year program is. I started in Mar 2019 and Graduated in May 2021 shown on the certificate. I would like to know what College level certificate (one Year) is. Does it mean that the program in diploma is 1 year only?
OWP requires two year fool time equivalent of college or above. Your ECA results mean that you are not eligible.

You can study but you need a study permit. For stream b, you need to finish your 1560 of and legal work on payroll with deductions and apply for PR by 2024 January before your graduation date. If your study for a two year fool time post secondary diploma here, or any degree, then your stream b deadline is 2026.08.31

You need to be in Canada for least half the duration on the length of the entire study program. Which means, even if you receive transfer credit is able to shorten the program, you still need to physically be in Canada for at least 50% of the time required for the entire program. Also, no SP is required if your program is 100% online. You need to get into Canada by other means.

Must be listed as a post secondary diploma designed to be done in two years by full time. You can fast track or the program can be accelerated and still qualify. Best to email the school and have them confirm in writing. Then you save that email and attach as proof when you apply for PR.
I have " Diploma in Social Service in 2015 & Diploma in Geriatric Care in 2019 " part time study for 2years in Hong Kong, so I can under stream B apply to Canada ? and I want to apply Canada study visa to study certificate in VCC for sample study Baking certificate , after that can match stream A ?
1. If your 2015 diploma was a full time 2yr HD, and your 2019 grad was a POST GRAD DIP (something that reissues a graduation at post secondary level before your can apply for it), then you qualify for stream B and can apply for an OWap note, but your need to do ECA.
2. If your Canadian banking program is 2yrs full time, then you don't need to worry about your HK credentials. But if your baking program is only 1yr, you likely won't qualify because your 2019 dip was not a full time post secondary program of two years or more.

We do not have a definitive answer for that. From what we understand from Stream B, it doesn't say you need to apply using the same qualification as the one you applied for OWP.

Your 2016 grad hard to be a degree or a HD of at least two years full time from an accredited institution. Your 2021 September start should be in Canada for a 1yr post grad diploma from a DLI. At least 50% of the time of the full program length you need to be in Canada. You need to find a way to get into canada. 100% programs are not eligible for SP normally. Best that your are in Canada for more time. How do you know you want to stay in Canada is your are not willing to stay here even for school.

I am in HK now. I have a Bachelor degree got from HK however more than 5 years ago. Also, I am currently studying a Higher Diploma of Civil Engineering in VTC, which will graduate on Sep 2023. Actually according to the VTC program design, once I complete 5 semesters of this higher diploma program, I will be given Diploma qualification on May 2022 (total 9 semesters). So first, can I get OWP? If not, is there any other way I could apply for Canada PR or work permit? Thank you
Is VTC is HK or Canada? If it is in Canada, and If your diploma is a post-secondary diploma (i.e. requiring highschool graduation), and that is at least two academic years long fulltime by design (can be accelerated), then you qualify for Stream A. You can apply for PR via stream A after your graduation. You should apply for Postgraduate work permit upon graduation as well, so you can legally stay and work in Canada.
If it is in HK, then you need to make sure you actually will receive a diploma by May 2022. If you only get it by Sept 2023, you will be too late.

For stream A, you need to show you have graduated from a Canadian program, with at least 50% of the duration of the original program while you were physically present in Canada. Graduation from a Canadian two year post sec dip qualifies you for stream a if your school is on the IRCC DLI list. I can't answer anything related to EE as I have no knowledge of that.

Your first masters degree already qualifies you for OWP. You can apply now. Don't need to wait.

General rule: Pay taxes before thinking of collecting benefits. OWP usually is not eligible for local fees.

Have you checked the IRCC DLI list? The last column is eligibility for post graduate work permit. Upon graduation, you need to have a legal status to stay and work. If your program is eligibility for PGWP, then you bank apply for that young your graduation and have implied status even whole you wait for it. At that time, you will apply for PR via stream A. The pGWp will cover your legal status to stay and work while you wait fruit your PR to be approved. If not, then you will need other ways.

If you have an OWP, you can stay even after your 2yr diploma, then you dont need the PGWP. A college on the DLI list qualifies you for Stream A.

You don't qualify for any stream based on your current situation. You need to redo your education and then you can qualify for stream a. It is very clear. Your 2020 Masters degree, if iot was from Canada, would qualify you for stream A. If it was from overseas, would qualify for OWP for Stream B.

It is the degree that is eligible. Make sure your wall paper says degree, with a date of no older than 5 years from the time your apply for OWP. You are eligible for OWP, not stream B directly.
Only after you get your OWP and work in Canada for at least 1560 hours, calculating only 30 hours a week max, and your apple for PR AFTER you finish this work experience, that is stream B.. And at that time of PR application, your education would STILL be no older than 5 years.

You need to apply for OWP first, using your U of Melbourne Masters, with ECA. Then you with the OWP, you can enter Canada to work for a year, then apply for stream B.

As said many time already, you can combine multiple part-time jobs at the same time, or different jobs before and after, to make 1560 hours. But you can only count 30 hours per week even if you work more than that.
