Sounds great! And I still can't get over how good that MVP sounds.. It seems a lot brighter and 'raunchier' (in a good way) than most P-Basses I've heard.
@@HondoFelder I was gonna ask what strings you were using - I've just become aware of Superbrights too. Funny thing is - they aren't super bright in the way I imagined - new they are kinda perfect and not overly zingy or clanky! Nice demo man.
I wouldn't call either of them super rat like really. If i had to pick the rattier one, i'd say the Ashmaker. if i wanted a very rat sound though i'd go with a tremond blue colander or a guerilla warfare from Greer amps. I reviewed the Greer one on this channel already, and will (eventually....) review the tremond too. :)
Great vid as always! Congrats on the channel growth!
Thanks!!
I has "The Tone" in spades.Works like a preamp and that puts it over the top. All the basses sound tops also.Congrats, you've earned this!

It’s no joke! Those are pretty new Dunlop super brights on it as well 🤘🏽
Love those Super Brights!
I do 120, 100, 80, 60, 40 on my Spector 5s

Pure Riffery 😆
SO glad someone caught that lol
How would you compare it to the MBD2? I’m looking for something kind of like a Rat, but no tone suck.
