    Great video. I have been to the Yucatán before I had a daughter on two occasions. I’m planning to return this summer with our 3 year old girl. I will definitely go to the denotes with her.

    This video was so helpful! We are going to the area in a month with our 3yo and 11yo. Do you think people need to be expert swimmers to enjoy the cenotes, or are they shallow?

      @bradball  2 года назад +1

      Most of them are quite deep... but I don't think you need to be a great swimmer. Life jackets and water wings are allowed for kids. All of my kids really enjoyed the cenotes!

    Can you jump in all of them from the top

    • @bradball
      @bradball  Год назад

      No… most of them you access through tunnels that are man made and will take you to the water level. Only a few of them allow you to jump from the top.

    Hi! Where did you purchase your passes? The on line link shows $425 US$ for my family of 5

    I doesn't take a lot smarts to still realize how you can help ,as you've said, poor people. Just offer them from the kindness of whatever heart you have left while down there. Give then a hefty tip for everyrhing you've bought. If enough people do that, they will come out far better than without your help. "We The People," have lived in lap of luxury for hundreds of years. They struggled every single day of their lives. I know, i't lived in Brasil for 6 years. I gave everything I owned at the time when i left. I came back home with nothing. As part of first world government spoils, I had to do that. Who knows when I would be back ?!? Who knows how many hundreds of Americans have enjoyed their vacations down ther, specially if you religious. If only they would unscrewed their heads and looked to see what's inside ? Please give more ! Just one hour of your your pay from work can extend their family with foods for at least a week. One peso is 0.059 to a US dollar. Thanks for reading and come to a realization that 99% are starving. Thanks !

    Is there any other way to get to the bottom of the Cenote La Noria without jumping? LOL. May be like stairs? I've seen some cenotes has stairs leading to the bottom. We actually have a 2.5yr old accompanying us

      Yes, you can access via stairs as well… the staff is very helpful. Some of our kids went down the stairs instead of jumping.

      We just showed up and purchased at the location. Every cenote I've been to has been pretty casual and they will sell you the tickets on location. Could be wrong, but I don't know of any that require an online ticket to be purchased beforehand.
      I'm almost certain you will save money going and purchasing on location. No middleman fees. Even though prices and inflation have increased since our visit, I'm confident it would MUCH less than $425 for a family of 5.
