Nice video. Suggestion that I see most players not doing in this fight in their tutorial videos. You NEED to pull the camera all the way out (zoom out) and move it so that your avatar is at the very bottom of the screen. You can see all of her attacks well before she fires them off and it makes moving out of the AOE spots soooo much easier. I personally disable all UI elements except for my HP/MP and hotbar. If you run a class that has I-frames then this fight (like Garmoth) is painfully easy. If you do not have an I-Frame character and are vanguard, then stay pretty much underneath her booty and wail away from behind. When she summons her adds keep them in the center so the rest of the vanguard and off the range classes to spread enmity. If you find yourself getting wailed on by her adds, dash OFF the mountaintop to break aggro. If you are a range class then I tend to hang out in the mid field zone. Her attacks have a wide breadth so fighting her from the fringes of the field literally means you are off the mountaintop. At mid field you can see when you need to dash in to the safe spot usually underneath her booty feathers. At her health reaching 50% AND 25% she will perform "Vortex Blast" where she will fly up and suck everything on the mountain top up in an inversion "micro-burst". You can actually spam pot heals while you're playing Mary Poppins because if you're not healed the fall back to Terra Forma might end you. If you have a I-Frame character just spam this and literally your avatar will ignore her attacks all together. Even when the server lags, I will fly up into the air but suddenly reappear safe and sound underneath her. This usually puts me 1v1 against her as everyone else has run away or had their salads tossed by Vortex Blast. This is actually a GOOD thing because I then can rack up a precious few seconds of damage that raises my place on her damage table. BTW, it helps to have Karanda knowledge (done via a quest) so that you can see her health to know when to expect VB. Stay out of the RED areas and watch for when she suddenly flies skyward. I literally have her heart on ALL of my character's dandys and a Glish storage full of her boxes.
Fuckin love guides like these, no bullshit intro, straight to the meat, clear and concise, frilled with small jokes here and there. Have my like.
200 views and 4 likes? Utterly preposterous! Loved the skill names, thank you.

Some great tips there! Thanks for mentioning those. I have yet to see a single heart but hey, maybe one day :)
very helpful, my chance of dying was reduced.
