In 2019 i went to Iceland, but it was too cold for me ... and that was during summer !!! For me, i prefer places like the Philippines. Apart from a much better climate you can stay there for 3 months instead of 1 week in Iceland, ha ha ha ! So the climate and the price makes it very easy to choose, what are my favourite countries - for me it's better to be next to the equator than to the North or Southpole

First time seeing you kissed😘 I love Iceland, visited there at the same month in 2018 and on our last night, we were lucky we saw the Northern lights. I’m sure you’ll enjoy going to the countryside. Hope there’ll be sun so you can also appreciate the green lands. Enjoy Iceland and be sure to explore the ice caves, different falls ( trek to the top on one) and ice lakes lakes of course their geyser, glacier and active volcanos and oh their national bird. So many things to do and places to see. For food, almost everything is organic from vegetables to fish and poultry. Salmon really taste good as well as the spring water …

I love Iceland! I visited there three times in the 90s and always had a blast. Your assessment of Reykjavik is consistent with mine during my visits. It is not a busy city at all, especially considering it’s the capital. It always felt more like a town to me. Thanks for the zero travel restrictions update. I’m ready to return!

    • @Halli50

It actually IS only a medium-sized town by any measure. Only the megalomaniacs that live in Reykjavik proper dare to call it a City! The rest of us Icelanders just have a quiet laugh about it...

It is soooooo cold there. I was there to sing with the Symphony orchestra….. I hopped from the concert hall to the hotel and back…..could only really enjoy the sights once the concert was over! My coat looked like a panda bear. There was no Uniqlo in the ‘90s! …….I wondered about Carols wool coat…certainly not warm enough. Found Iceland fascinating. Such lovely, friendly people. And that Blue lagoon! What an experience! Enjoy the rest of your stay. Love from warm Sydney. 🍾☀️🥂

Ahhhhh😍😚😍😚😍😚last night I was telling my hubby Jumping places were in Edinburgh I bet they are heading up to Iceland 🇮🇸 💙 I can’t wait!
Iceland was on my bucket list pool position all my life… Then we went and I totally fell utterly in love with this magical land and these awesome people.I used to prioritise Good food and good weather(being a fussy eater and vegetarian and loving Hot temperature, I struggle with a syndrome that makes me cold most of the time so I purposely search heat sources and I’m a big cities lover I thrive on its energy so on paper Iceland is not for me) yet there is this connection on emotional level I can’t explain…
I told my daughter I want her to get a job at blue lagoon so I can visit from uk and stay there all day everyday… I just love it there 🥰it’s so relaxing
You know that psychedelic cafe you show at the beginning of the vlog is a bakery you need to go in and buy some of their special pastries ( they make an incredible square cinnamon buns they are so good they are like brioche with a thick cinnamon crust 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤)and their bread is some of the best I have ever had in my life… in fact I buy some to take home and put in freezer so I can still live my Iceland dream at home 🤪🤣
So happy you finally made it!
In summer it’s a different ball game it’s so busy… just came back from Mex 2 days ago and told my husband next is Iceland 🇮🇸 so we will go probably in 3 months as I really want to see the puffins. We are lucky here in Uk mainland Europe that is such an easy trip/ destination ~3hrs flight and it’s another world 😇💙Iceland 🇮🇸 is such a unique destination No place like it on the planet and you can disconnect so fast.
I am so exciting about seeing what you will be up to next I guess waterfall icebergs glacier black sand beach 🤍🖤 all amazing 🤩
    Enjoy
    Sabrina 🇫🇷🇬🇧

This is really good. We took our trip in december, for Christmas time. We didn't stay for New Year's and we understood that was a very loud time. We went to the Blue lagoon and even went to the restaurant. It was really nice. It was booked months ahead of time, as part of their package, in order to not get ripped off. I kind of got upset when I heard you guys got ripped off. I'm sorry. It's still with a very nice place. I intend to go back to Iceland for 4 or 5 days this summer, in the midst of all my other travels. I'm subscribing to your channel, too.

You Guys must visit the Black sand beach in the town of Vik. Even in the cold weather it is beautiful. There is a small restaurant there that serves great soups, and he has a live Indoor lava show which cost about 40 dollars per person, but it is so worth it. The drive is about 110 or 112 miles from Reykjavik.

❄❄❄ Iceland,❄❄❄☔ I am blown away!!The tropical couple who went to the farthest south on this planet to the freezing farthest north island. You two never stop amazing me with your locations for the past " 4 years"!! I have loved all your adventures. This one I hope you enjoy. I can do without the snow and cold. We are warm today, it is 12 degrees outside and will be -1 degree tonight. I think I would rather be in Brazil but really want to be in the Philippines or Laos. I do have to say, the lagoon pool of geo thermal water is amazing. We need one where I live, but we don't have thermal vents. We just have loads of oil and nuclear missiles and cows. We can drive for 8 hours and get to Yellowstone park in Montana. It is nice in the winter, but some pools will eat off your skin from being acidic and others boil you alive. A place to be careful for sure. I really liked seeing you both show affection and love towards each other, I found it very touching and sweet, remembering back when Chris asked you to marry you Carol on top of that big rock in Texas. That was around the time I started watching your channel and vlogs. Have fun and drive safe. Oh, by the way, most of the rock should be lava rock everywhere up there. Peace and love to you both always💞🤍

The Northern Knights? Ha. That's funny. That was a fun video to watch. I hope you had as much fun there as I had watching this video! I'm from Iowa. I plan on taking day tours there this September. I want to go inside that one volcano, go snorkeling between the 2 tectonic plates, and whale watch, and oh, take a rented car toward the bird cliffs. Of course, that will require some hiking.

Velkomin til Íslands! I have spent quite a bit of time in beautiful Iceland. Hopefully, you had time to get off the tourist path where you can meet locals. There are many thermal pools, besides the Blue Lagoon. Neighbourhoods all have local community centres with various heated pools, saunas, etc which cost about 8,00 USD. Some centres have a small café or small huts that serve Pylsa (hot dogs made with lamb). . Also, if you have not left try to get to Grimsey (1/2 of the island is in the Arctic Circle).

Just when I taught Carol couldn't be more beautiful and you more handsome. Love this place. Would move there in a heartbeat if I could afford it.
