- Today we travel from Addo Elephant Park, to Jeffry's Bay and the Plattenberg Bay. Obviously, us being us, this is not a straight route. Around 250km takes us the entire day since we stop to see all sorts of attractions along the way. Everything from lighthouses, to trying fishing for crabs.

Shhhhhh............we keep this place (South Africa) a secret🤫. You have only just scratched the surface of the rides available. The scenery as you have discovered is breathtakingly beautiful and there is so much more on offer. Honestly you could spend a year travelling and still only scrape the surface of what there is to see. I live here and love travelling abroad, but am always in awe of how amazing South Africa is when compared to other places. Honestly love this series as you have done wonders for sharing our beautiful country with fellow adventurers. Keep up the great work.

I do recall Port Elizabeth and also Durban to be the two ports I always loved to go to, when I was still a seaman. The guys in the port were not really keen on working, so whenever there was the tiniest bit of wind, they refused to discharge the containers from our ship (in heavy wind that does make sense, because the containers start swinging). And as you discribed in this video, there is almost always wind there, so instead of 1 day in the port, we were every now and than 4-5 days there, having some free time to spend ashore after a couple of weeks without the chance to go into a pub or restaurant. Great memories.
