All you guys complaining about eggshells. Not sure if you've figured it out, but dogs don't have ovens and grinders in the wild! lol. I've given my dogs eggshells for years. I dont bake or grind them. I crunch them up with my hand into little pieces usually. They don't have bleeding esophaguses lol. I use good quality pastured eggs.
Finally, I keep seeing the question, but unless I want to listen to and watch to a long drawn out sales pitch- I don't get the answer, until NOW - thank you and yes - I have been on the raw food half and half - fresh pet - 2 varieties of raw - an pieces of raw beef liver. With the beef liver, my dog looks at me like, she can't believe, what did she do? How can she do it again? ( It's slow for me)
Hey Constance! Fresh Pet has had a lot of recalls and mold issues. If you need to feed a half and half diet, check out the canned options from Nature's Logic! Much higher quality :)
Yes, please people, don’t feed just eggshell and all without baking and grinding it first. The pieces could harm your dog esophagus when given whole. Not sure why didn’t mention it on the video. Now, quail eggs on the other hand have super soft shells that can be given whole
I love how all USA videos casually mention about pasture raised eggs being the best option as though its 1) cheaper than free range and 2) countries outside USA sell pasture raised eggs as an option in grocery shops
Love your videos! Question about flea and tick prevention. Traditional medication for this scare me. Right now we purchase kin and kind spray from your website and do many tick checks. I do add some acv to their breakfast too. Any other advice?? Thank you!
Garlic is a great way to help prevent fleas and ticks as well! www.dogsnaturallymagazine.com/garlic-for-dogs-poison-or-medicine/#h-concerns-when-using-garlic-for-dogs
What is 'moderation'? I feed my 13-lb super-hyper Schipperke 2 raw eggs per day and her health has definitely improved. I'm thinking of increasing the eggs for my 90-lb German Shepherd who gets some supplemental raw but Not totally raw. I buy only eggs from a local farmer whose chickens are freely foraging. Can you give an idea by weight as to how many eggs are ok to give? I'd like to give my GSD more...
I haven't got on the raw food band wagon! But I do feed my pup fresh food and I do add one lightly cooked 🥚 each morning using extra virgin olive oil. For those adding 🥚shells to the food get a coffee grinder to turn it into powder. But first bake the shells in the oven at 250° for about 10 minutes to dry them out. It will be much better absorbed and more pleasing to your pup's taste buds!
Wouldn’t the egg shell grind… make your dog digestion track to cleanse? I mean… wouldn’t it make your dog poop in larger amounts? Same effect as toasted pumpkin seeds grinder?
Boiled eggs can be fed, but we prefer to feed them raw! Dogs can have an egg daily or a few times per week, up to you and your dog on how often you want to feed them!
A better way is to get a coffee grinder and turn it into powder. But bake the eggshells in the oven about 250° for about 10 minutes to dry them out and they grind up great.
Thank you, great info, especially about the shells. I was pulling the membrane out of the shell, it's easier not to.

Another Outstanding Video… 💯👍You’re videos are my Daily Fix.
Thank you so much!

Dogs can eat the whole egg and can manage the shell as well. Ideally yes, grinding is a better option for easier digestion :)
Please elaborate on why to bake 1st?

Typically one egg per day is plenty unless you are feeding tiny quail eggs! :)
That's good to hear
Can you elaborate on what free range means please?
Free range could mean they are out of a cage, but still crowded in that space. Pasture raised and organic means outside. In a nutshell explanation.
Free range means not raised in battery cages! We prefer pasture raised and organic when possible :)
Is there a potential for hurting the esophagus or GI tract if given the egg shells without first grinding them?
Yes, not sure why they didn’t mention the process of how to feed the shell, because it can be harmful if not properly grind
Yes, they must be baked in oven lightly and then ground
Dogs can eat the whole egg and can manage the shell as well. Ideally yes, grinding is a better option for easier digestion if you have the time! :)

You don't want to feed your dog commercial store bought egg shells that have been treated with chemicals or bleach.
So your on te fresh food band wagon
@@hammertime4257 Wife just brought home eggs raised by a guy local we know

Is it safe to give quail eggs? My dog is allergic to chicken/eggs thank you
How many eggs per week is recommended?
You can feed an egg daily if you wish!
Is boiled egg good for dog? If yes then how many number can feed in a week
Boiled eggs can be fed, but we prefer to feed them raw! Dogs can have an egg daily or a few times per week, up to you and your dog on how often you want to feed them!
There are pros and cons to feeding dogs raw eggs with the shell. I cook the eggs lightly and throw away the shells.
It often depends on your comfort level as well! :)
Hope Eli got his egg today! 🥚 Gotta love him.
He's such a ham :)
So just feed the raw egg shell and all? A little confused on how it should be served

You can feed them raw and crushed or grind them as another comment mentioned :)
So question is if its good for dogs for calcium what about women that need extra calcium 🤔 got me thinking 🤔
Is it ok to feed my dog a little bit of my scrambled egg?
How many eggs can dog have
Eggs better be ok because I’m poor and not going into debt to feed this stray over my own kids. 😂
So don't have a dog.
If your dog is allergic to chicken, would it makes sense that they would also be allergic to eggs?
They can be! Some dogs tolerate eggs much better then chicken itself, but it would be best to check with your vet :)
I wouldn’t ever encourage my dog to eat eggshells or puppies. 🤦🏻
