- Another absolute stunner here in Noosa this morning with bright blue skies over low lying scattered cloud. Little or no swell on the bar. Doesn't look too exciting out past the headland but Laguna Bay looks choice. Heaps of birds and pelagics working the bait schools in close. Filmed a houseboat crossing the bar with the intention of heading south for the Gold Coast Boat Show. Conditions past the shelter of the headland, however, were way too rough so the skipper called it off and headed back in. BOM forecast is for southerly winds 15 to 20 knots, reaching up to 25 knots offshore in the late morning. Seas: 1.5 to 2 metres, decreasing to 1 to 1.5 metres during the afternoon. Swell: Southerly around 1 metre inshore, increasing to 1.5 to 2.5 metres offshore. Filmed between 6.00am and 8.00am which was a couple of hours after a 1.71m high tide.
