I think you do make a point of shallow guys they definitely exist, but I think the consensus of why it seems more pertinent to the ladies than guys in the first place is maybe the likelihood of bearing a child decreases with age? Of course this applies to cases, not 'old' like Brenda's case but like late 30s to 40s old, in my humble opinion.
