They asked him some questions...the rest is history You can check out the xfm shows to this day online , I really recommend them as they are so raw and organic By this point the boys had been friends for years and basically invented podcasts by recording the XFM show off the air and produced them themselves .... Podcasts are born

I hope you watch more of this animated podcast, there's more of Karl's diary, and also a section called "monkey news" where they would take a topic from Karl that he wanted to discuss that week. Also Ricky has a degree in philosophy and I remember him running some philosophical mind benders by Karl and his responses were just as funny.

Honestly after last week I needed a good laugh, it's not just the banter but the animations that run alongside that make it so funny. You've got to carry on now though through his weekly updates.

I think a good bit of people hear themselves within their inner monologues. Between that and just the general oh shit type thoughts or deeper ones that are more mulling than inner monologue.
Classic Karl. There are many other characters equally funny, best observed in the local pub or cafe. I have overheard some hilarious conversations in my time.

The reason I love this show is the same reason I love seeing animations of let's players. They're very creative and hilarious.
