Wow, this completely changes my perspective on nail art! This video came up in a search about using a dotting tool, since I never saw heard of one before (though I did put dots on my nails when I was younger using the tip of a pencil dipped in polish…) It's amazing what can be done with some layers and creative use of dots, I'm blown away! Thank you for sharing, I'm excited to try something like one of these soon, either #1 or #3
Your comment was so joyous to read, thank you for taking the time to write it! It is amazing how something as simple as making dots can turn into a piece that looks so intricate and complicated to the naked eye!!
Thank you for making easy patterns that a beginner like myself can follow and do. I am going to check out your new one and I hope to find more. You explain in a slow fashion and not rushing it so I have to keep pausing to keep up. I'm hooked. Thanks
I see this was released 5 years ago! No matter! I just have to say this design is so beautiful and CLEVER! I love this and will be attempting this myself. Thank you!!!
THanks for watching :) I love it too, saw it initially all over instagram created by others and knew I had to recreate the design in video form to show all my viewers :)
These are all great! I had to subscribe after seeing this. They look so complicated, but watching you do them makes it look easy. TY! could not see what you where going on the second design..the nail you where working on was not in the frame, but I think I could figure it out. Great job!
THanks hun! The design was all over instagram and after seeing it, I knew I had to recreate it to share with my viewers!! It would also lookk so amazing as an accent nail as well!1 :)
great designs! and they really are easy; this is my first time using a dotting tool and after 2 or 3 tries, I got the designs perfect. thanks so much! :)
I just finished watching your One Stroke Blue Daisy Nail Tutorial, and I like it a lot. I want to recreate this look. However, how long should I wait between each coat of nail polish? I don't have an LED lamp, but I do have a fan. Yet it seems every time I think my nails are dry, then they smug or get nipped ruining the polish. How do you get the acrylic paint off the brush once your done painting? What should I do about a horrible white polish the gets gunky really fast even though it is only three months old? And is it better just to paint my nails with paint instead of polish?
super easy did #2. First time using a dotting tool and got great results, even with my left hand. Thank you for a great tutorial. Wish I could show you. 😄
+SimplyChic I don't have instagram 😒 (phone out of space had to choose), so I have Facebook and they got posted there. love your channel. You come up with great ideas. .
I hit the Like button - but only because there isn't a Love button. The first one was my favorite. I want to try it this weekend, but with different colors. Please do more beginner tutorials. Thanks =]
Aamazing! I love all three of them! Please do more. The second one u did missjenfabolous did it like a year ago but u added some other stuff to it so it made it like a different look. Your loom. I love it! U are very creative!
I love the way you us ! Gently and smooth I feel like I could actually do this my hand shakes a bit now but I feel if I take my time I could do it thank you very much!
The metal dotting tool that is domed at the end, is the one that I am looking for and I haven't found on ebay or any other site. What is it called. It is curved at the end and it looks especially good for this technique. Which is beautiful! Thank you.
Hi Judith, it's funny because I actually bend a hair pin to use it as a large dotting tool since I did not own one at the time. So what you should be looking for is actually a large sized dotting tool, not the DIY hair pin dotting tool that I used in this video LOL. I hope that helps your search!
I love the last one like a black fan. Love the ideas and the way you made them. Thanks!
