I subscribed to your channel when I was about a minute into your video. The second manicure was my favorite. Your color concept is so great in all 3 of the manicures. Hello I was wondering where do u get those brushes? And how do you clean them after use? Thanks and love the videos!

    • @ArcadiaNailArt
      @ArcadiaNailArt  9 лет назад

      Manda H My brushes are a set of 7 nail art brushes, most of the time I get them from ebay. Not sure if I used a striping brush in this vid but if I did it's a ProArte rigger brush from the art store, with some of the bristles chopped off to make it skinny.
      Clean them with acetone free remover but I prefer a tub of remover pads (also acetone free). I just open them up and wipe the brush on the pads, much easier and no spills :)

    How did you clean up your lines with remover without ruining the base coat? they all turned out cute btw

    • @ArcadiaNailArt
      @ArcadiaNailArt  10 лет назад

      ***** If you're gentle and use acetone free remover you can clean the line gradually, bit by bit, without disturbing too much of the colour underneath.

    I really enjoy the 3-in-1 tutorials. I honestly thought you had used a white background for the second design! :) I rarely use striping tape as part of my design but that look was sooo pretty I may just try to use it as part of it rather than just a tool to get straight lines :) your videos are always so awesome!

    • @ArcadiaNailArt
      @ArcadiaNailArt  10 лет назад +1

      I wanted to try and actually use the tape in at least one design rather than, as you said, just using it as a tool. I'm glad the video inspired you!

    Amazing designs!! You're awesome and your nails are beautiful. I have a question, will an art brush work?

    • @ArcadiaNailArt
      @ArcadiaNailArt  10 лет назад

      Nancy Garcia Yep! I use art brushes, just be aware that polish destroys brushes after a while, so clean them with non acetone remover, or do your nail art with acrylic paints ☺

  • @lisanicholl4433
    @lisanicholl4433 10 лет назад

    love the video! lwould ove to see more like it, can i ask, is it gel nail polish you use?

    • @ArcadiaNailArt
      @ArcadiaNailArt  10 лет назад

      ***** Thanks! There are a few more 3 in 1 videos in a playlist over on my channel. I always use regular polish, not gel, and occasionally acrylic paints for the artwork. I usually list the polishes either in the video or the description box :)

    Loved the 2nd design the most. Can you recommend a link to buying striping tape? I already have some, but it is cheap.

    • @ArcadiaNailArt
      @ArcadiaNailArt  9 лет назад

      Trina Howell Sadly I had the same experience. I bought a big set on ebay (25 I think) and some of them split easily, and other are unevenly cut so you get a thick bit then a thin bit over and over lol. Luckily within the set there are mostly good ones so I'd just say buy a big set and cross your fingers.
      If there are good quality striping tapes out there I don't know of them :/

      It's from a set of 3 nail art brushes that you can find on ebay - www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3pcs-Tiny-Acrylic-Nail-Art-Design-Decoration-Pen-Brush-Painting-Drawing-Tool-New-/130668600392?pt=Nail_Polish&hash=item1e6c749c48
      or bornprettystore - www.bornprettystore.com/3pcsset-newly-black-handled-nail-brush-acrylic-nail-p-12309.html
      Even if those links are no longer active you can see what the set looks like, and they're available from lots of online nail art stores :)

    I loved them all...!!! For a worse than beginner like me it seems doable and I love that!!! Also three designs in four minutes that's great, I feel it quick to look at and at ease with the idea of giving it a try. I like your music too, and the fact that you use the same...is that right, often...? It feel good to have recognizable elements in the videos, as if I was entering your "boutique" so to say. But the best for me is your voice and your charming accent!! Don't change anything, just do more, and more...!!!...:-)

    How long are your stripes lasting on the nails? Mine get all curvy after 1-2 days and you really can pull of the first layer of that stripe tape. Maybe quality?

    • @ArcadiaNailArt
      @ArcadiaNailArt  10 лет назад

      My manicures only last 2-3 days so I'm not 100% sure how to make it last longer, but if that's happening then a fresh layer of topcoat 36-48 hrs after painting might keep it down.
      As for quality, I wonder if there's even different qualities of striping tape available, or if it's all cheap crap from China?? :/
