The best way to save on airfare to Iceland is just book a one way ticket and stay there. It is a phenomenal place.

I have signed up for the Iceland Air newsletter and they tend to run some sales a couple of times a year. I use this for travel to Europe as well, and if you have the time, a couple day stopover in Iceland is awesome.

What about the extended layover on Iceland air? Add up to a 7 day layover on your way to Europe or back for no extra cost!
