30:00 You know I've only just noticed that I swear they've green screened the green screen. I think this is the case because as the camera pans occasionally you see, green tracking crosses. As I understand it this is for motion tracking, but a plain green screen would typically be used for fixed camera stuff.
If that's true that is ridiculously deep, but completely in keeping with the On Cinema universe.

Was the reason Gregg acted so off and guilty after Mark came out of his coma ever explained? He seems to act like he has done something wrong and squirms around, and I'm not just talking about Tim's medical aid fraud conspiracy. Was it just that he has so few people skills that he only cares about the movies? I have always felt sorry for the character Mark. He would have probably been bullied all his life. The acting is fantastic. Sometimes, though, story threads just get forgotten or don't always have a proper climax.

@@StillOnFire I believe Gregg was the one who got the suit if I remember correctly, but your right some threads just are set to the wayside and forgotten, but with all this content I keep finding that I had forgotten a part where they bicker about it one particular episode or something
TLDR sometimes it’s hard to tell with so many years of content

We can see in the "VR" Gregg video, and his role as the human Oscer, that gregg has been pretty deeply mistreating Mark whom he was in charge of. Since Mark was in his coma, Gregg hasn't had to reckon with him ruining a former friend's life, he's been able to just see him as an object.
When Tim mistreats someone he can immediately tell lies about it and out on a face, only for that to slowly eat away at him over time.
When Gregg does something wrong, he obviously immediately denies it most of the time (but his lies are quite week), but he only gets more assured of his reality as time goes on. So i think Greggs reaction is reality confronting him before he can build up his defenses.
More publicly, Gregg had also been using most of the Medicaid money to expand the VFA, and purchasing movie memorabilia. So to some extent the misery we see on Gregg's face is his cash cow ending. Gregg does this to all his relationships, but looking at their stories after this we can see that play out. Tim uses people because he needs approval, affection, and love, and he thinks thats the only way to get. Gregg uses people because he wants something, and never seems to grow any true connection with them (like him suddenly liking and proposing to Kylie after her one Harry Potter segment)
Mark was useful to him as a movie "trivia" mouthpiece. When he started working with Tim more he stopped liking him. When DvD gets cancelled, mark is useful again as his mouthpiece. When he is comatose, he is useful as an income stream and a manipulation/bargaining chip with Tim.
Now that he's awake, and has lost a lot of his facilities, he can't make gregg money, cant be used as a bargaining chip, can't be used for impressions/trivia, and Tim pretty easily shows Mark all the wrong that Gregg has done, which is why in fiction, Mark leaves for so long. Tim abused him, Gregg used him, so he's done.
Until Mark's draw for showbiz comes back, and he leaves his family for Hollywood again. Tim can offer him "money" (which he doesn't initially understand as useless hei points), resources, and exposure. Gregg has nothing to offer, and he wants nothing from him, and because he's so conflict averse he just hides from Mark on set.
Until Gregg has need of him again, for Deck of Cards, and then the Pep Boys Project.
