Each of you 3 "boys" are unique and have special talents and in this one Matt looks so content and you can feel his love for the farm 🚜 Where did the season go?
I like it when you fellas pass the camera around. Everyone seems to be getting very comfortable with the camera. All the different views are surprising and beautiful. You people are so fun and interesting to watch whatever you are working at. I am amazed how much work you get done before lunch. Oh, yes. The time-lapse segments are fun, whether it is little blue tractors or horses going by. 😊😊😊
My family & I were vacationing in Bar Harbor Maine & had the opportunity to stop by the Farm Market on Monday Oct. 16th. We picked up some awesome potatoes, brussel sprouts, grapes and a few t-shirts. We spoke with Matt, Aunt Becky, April, Callie, Gavin, Aunt Rhonda & Brian. (forgive me if I've forgotten anyone or misspelled names) We enjoyed our short visit and chance to talk veggies with you all. Also wanted to thank you all for the hospitality and taking a few minutes out of your day to chat. When then headed back to Southern Illinois to grow veggies and drive trains! Thanks!
Taking in the beauty of the farm--including the horse farm, of course--is a real joy, but seeing your family work so cohesively is a special treat. Kudos to Grammy for providing lunch every day.
Hi Andrew, could you "interview" the veggie girls and veggie boys some time? Like just ask about 5 questions of their life/work/important role they play on the farm. So we can get more of an insight of how all the cogs of the farm gears work. I would also love for you to interview Grammy, and ask her how she runs and plans her busy kitchen. Thanks so much for your videos, we learn so much from y'all.
Thank you Andrew- another great video! Gavin- you do such an awesome job with the double feature! 👍 I just love watching all the baling process! Matthew- you’re a natural with the camera! Love what you shared! 😊
I was born and raised in Iowa. I totally agree on the smell of new mown hay being one of best. I no longer live there but on the trips back, seeing and smelling the hay harvest makes me truly feel like I'm home again. Good job boys!
Such awesome video's !!! Matt it's such a pleasure to hear your report of what you were doing. You guys are the absolute best!!! I look forward everyday to seeing another video. My husband enjoyed them too but he passed in Feb. Miss him so much. Thanks for your video's ... please keep them coming. they are so relaxing for those of us kicking back and watching. Love love love Callie!! She's a doll! ("And girls") love it!!!
That's very good that you care enough to not just sell old mature corn. It's good that you care about the quality of your products. Not just to put out extra veggies
Probably good that you are chopping the sweet corn. You don't want to sell bad product. Always enjoy watching you putting up hay. 21 bales is pretty good for the horses. Andrew thanks again for the video. Take Care and Be safe on the farm. Out
Some of my favorite things: the smell of fresh cut hay, the sight of a picked up hay field and the smell of the fresh hay in the barn. Not to mention the smell of a horse barn.
Hi - always love to see your videos - so informative! That was nice of one of your customers to make that little replica of you and Callie - how cool! Very creative :-) Wow, a crazy day for you guys... chasing chickens. Do you ever have to worry about other animals at night getting into the chicken pens or bothering the cattle? yikes! Great harvest this season - are you ready for a little winter break? You gotta be - farmers, very hard working people. Thank you for all you do - keep the videos coming :-)
A great video. It just shows how hard you all work, jumping from job to job. Very varied day. Some lovely shots of the scenery. Reminds me of hay making when I was a child, it all had to be pitchforked onto the hay wagon and then unloaded into the hayrick, and the hayrick thatched. But the smell was lovely. It is a long time since I saw a thatched hayrick. We have had our first frost. Apart from one plant I covered the rest are a goner and I lost a few leaves on Dahlias.
Callie 🤗I think she was happy to say bye 👋 and get eating her yummy dinner. Matt looks super chilled , so relaxed I thought he may take a little nap on the hey. Time hast gone so fast this year and crazy must be a great feeling that all your hard work paid off. Even though farm work of any kind is never really done. Take care everyone x
I still am totally fascinated at how those big bales are wrapped with the plastic............waaaaaaaaa! Sad to see the last of the corn being picked! I just savor that corn so much. Great job, all you fella's......Nice to be putting the gardens to bed for the winter. Also, Great lunch meals.......Yummy! have a great week....Bev in Maine
it's nice to see Matt and Gavin doing the video great job you did guys❤💕👍👍 and you too Andrew last sweetcorn harvest 👍🍁🍂🍁🍁Autumn season is here "good weather"
Joel is a Man after my own heart with the pumpkin spice coffee. My Son took me to support one of our local farmers at the weekend buying Pumpkins from their Patches. Great fun... well, for me. My Son had a bit of a tougher time pushing them in the wheel barrow 🎃🎃🎃
Nice job with the hay! Glad your father got to his Pioneer meeting. Glad you apparently have the escapee chickens found and brought to the pen. Everyone works very hard on the Ochs farm! Nice you have added new hens too.
Great video! Everyone helped with this video. New chickens look great, hay looks fantastic! You and your family are such pleasant hardworking people! My husband and I wait for all of your videos! On a side note, how many grandchildren does Grammy have? Always someone new at lunch! Congratulations to Daniel and his bride!
You can tell the new chickens... they are all huddled up at the other side of the pen rather than swarming you like the old ones do. No matter, the Chicken Whisperer will take care of that!
Congratulations Daniel on your marriage ❤

What an incredibly beautiful place to farm!!!
Gavin is a natural at this now! Crazy to see how far everyone has come. Love the videos as always boys n gals!
Matthew is such a natural with the camera!
That was quite the Plate Full of Food in Front of Callie. 👍🙏
I know Joel is looking forward to getting all that hay. With hay season over now, another mission accomplished.
I am not "knocking" Andrew or Danial, but if I were painting a picture of the quintessential young farmer, it would be Matt sitting on the hay trailer
Its a much better work day when you are all over the place. Gavin did great filming for both channels!
Sadie, welcome to a Veggie Boy video. Many congrats on the wedding.

I love watching them roll down the hill and how the cows go wild for them! 👍
Matt, Daniel, Joel AND GRANDPA ARE BEST WORKERS!! you guys keeping everything moving!
Callie is getting way too cute 🥰
I know as a child if there was that much corn left my father would've had us kids eating that corn for breakfast lunch and dinner 24 /7
Ditto..... corn cakes for breakfast, corn 🌽 for lunch, and crusty corn pudding for supper!
😂😂😂Must be sweet memories huh
You guys had a heck of a day. Take care of yourselves ☺
Thank you Andrew- another great video!

Yeah, the hay is all done. Your family works so good together and look at all you got done today. That’s a lot of chickens!
I was born and raised in Iowa. I totally agree on the smell of new mown hay being one of best. I no longer live there but on the trips back, seeing and smelling the hay harvest makes me truly feel like I'm home again. Good job boys!

Callie doesn't use her baby chair anymore?! What a big girl!
Beautiful farm and Callie is adorable
I am enjoying seeing Gavin and Matthew using the camera too
The boys did a great job filming. Its good to change it up sometimes!!
Ask Joel if he adds nutmeg to his pumpkin latte. I make my own and always like to Add a couple dashes of nutmeg.
Nutmeg is so tasty, so healthy for you.
I don't know which is more difficult for me: end of sweet corn season, or end of tomato season. I hate seeing both of them go.
Such awesome video's !!! Matt it's such a pleasure to hear your report of what you were doing. You guys are the absolute best!!! I look forward everyday to seeing another video. Some of my favorite things: the smell of fresh cut hay, the sight of a picked up hay field and the smell of the fresh hay in the barn. Not to mention the smell of a horse barn.
Another great video. Thank you for sharing. See you in the next one.
You need a long handle fish net always on hand if you have chickens. Works perfect.
13:25...That's so meta, Gavin!!!
Someone was doing a very fine job baling that hay. Nice even bales. Makes it easier to move them.
I get hungry for fresh veggies every time I see your videos!!
White is my favorite sweet corn.

That is a pretty fast tractor and round bailer…..doing a whole field in 30 seconds is Superman!!!!
The way you're slinging bales, Andrew, I'm hoping that means your back is feeling better!

It is always good to get the haying complete. How and where do you get that many hens just ready to lay eggs.
