FINALLY I have been searching for this song for YEARS !! Do you know how hard it is to find a song where the only words you remember are “yeah yeah”!?!?
I can absolutely relate to that. I worked at a haunted house a few Octobers back in my late teens and early 20's. It was 5 hour days, 5-6 days a week. The ambient scary noises played on repeat. It was about 15 minutes long so a single customer would never really hear the same part twice, but I heard the same track on repeat 4 times an hour. Which is 20 times a day. 100 to 120 times a week. Almost 500 fucking times in the month. I could literally "sing" along with the entire thing from memory, but it wasn't even a song. I just cackled along with the witch when she randomly came up in the track. I could tell you when the owls would hoot or the flock of bats would flap. I heard Dracula threaten me in my dreams for the entire month of October and well into November. It was so insidious and all encompassing that the set actually became scarier at the end of the night when the PA system was turned off. The noises that permeated My very soul just disappeared and I had to walk back through the completely dark, labyrinthine building in absolute silence. In that oppressive silence the rubber and latex smell of literally everything was all that was left. The inherent wrongness of it felt almost perverse. I can legitimately say I went a tiny bit crazy every night I was there. It was both the worst and best job I ever had.
The first time I heard this was at a University party in 2006/2007. The DJ had put the instrumental for 30 seconds after put your hands up for Detroit...I spent like 3 years trying to find the song haha. But the day I did!!!!!
Luciana’s such a talented and humble artist. I remember when I was an up and coming nightclub DJ and reached out to 20+ of the hottest dance vocalists at the time for a DJ drop and she sent several personalized ones! That hit hard! Much love ❤
This just came on capital FM at about 11pm and it took me so far back in time my haircut changed before I got home. Love it, and have missed it terribly@@punkstreetstudios
After 22 years of searching for this song. Finally found it today. My neighbor played this song when I was 5 years of age. Ever since I've BEEN looking for it. I AM COMPLETE. I CAN NOW GO AND BE WITH MY ANCESTORS. 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
This was made in 2006, which was 16 years ago as of the time I’m writing this comment. I remember this first time round, and I was seven then. The way Luciana sang "new" at 1:12 honestly sounded like "loo" to me (don’t ask why) and I almost cried with laughter.
This video feels so 2000s. The metal microphone, the boxy TV, the big black speakers, the lighting. I loved playing Singstar and this gives off the vibe.
My mom heard this for the first time in a doctor's office and she spent YEARS obsessing over this AMAZING song that she swore was the best thing ever. She tried so many times to sing it to me and, well, what she sang sounded awful lol. Just try singing this song to someone without the lyrics or beat and.. LOL it comes out AWFUL. I think she spent 5 years searching and then one day she heard it playing faintly over some radio in a lobby somewhere and started SCREAMING out of nowhere like she was seeing some sort of mythical creature crawling out of the wall, the lady in the lobby thought she was crazy for how worked up she was over hearing a song! Anyway, ever since we had the name, its been one of our top favorites for singing in the car and cleaning the house. ♥️ Note: my mom's name was Cynthia and she did the vocals and played the synthesizer in several bands back in the 80s and 90s. They would say "Cynth on the Synth" lol
I loved this story, its definitely why shazam was invented. I still have never found a wonderful song I heard playing on the beaches of Goa in 2006-7. The lyrics I can remember were 'nananana hey, nananana hey' so naturally I've had no luck finding it, but hopefully one day I will.
@@bingobango5027 It's not that song but thanks for trying! I've never heard it anywhere but in Goa but it wasn't an Indian sounding song, it sounded more African. Hopefully one day I'll hear it again.
+Chris White cool! the instrumental is basically a remix of this song, but man the singing on the shermanology is SO ANNOYING, completely kills it for me :-/ prefer the bodyrox "version" :)

2006 Luciana was cute !!! "Yeah Yeah" is a song by Bodyrox, written in collaboration between Nathan Thomas, Nick Bridges, John Pern and Luciana. It was popularized in clubs by D. Ramirezs remix, which became the medium for editing the radio, along with Luciana. He was described by both Nic Fanciulli and Paul Woolford as one of Miami's greatest tunes, and reached # 2 on the Top 40 in the UK, also scoring in the Netherlands and Finland. But it was a total success at the top of Dance UK Chart for a week only, on November 5, 2006. In the United States, the single peaked at # 18 on the Billboard Airplay Chart Dance in 2007. The clip is censored and uncensored. Both versions feature Luciana and an assortment of young adults in a filthy room. As the music continues, young adults become more and more excited, and begin to rub themselves with each other or rub themselves, in the uncensored version of the video, the behavior is prolonged with friction in the crotch and stroking on bare breasts. Euphemisms, including the connection of the micro cables, spilling milk are subtly woven in both versions of the video, and they conclude with Luciana who sprinkle the room with gasoline and because of the sparks of a cigarette lighter, the fire breaks out.

I can teach you a thing or two
Yeah, yeah!
I can teach you a thing or two
Yeah, yeah!
Yeah, yeah!
Yeah, yeah!
Yeah, yeah!
Yeah, yeah!
You think you've got it all worked out
But you don't know nothing, nothing, nothing!
You think that you can rub me out
But I'm made of something, something, something!
I can teach you a thing or two
Yeah, yeah!
I can teach you a thing or two
Yeah, yeah!
I can teach you a thing or two
Yeah, yeah!
I can teach you a thing or two
