That's the reason why I stopped hosting local tourneys because people always be hitting walls, breaking chair, smacking tables, etc. It was way too much liability for people that literally could careless about the host and the venue.
I think the reason why people rage quit even seconds before dying is because it gives them the feeling that they somehow still lost on their own terms instead of just having it handed to them. It does not make a lot of sense if you really think about it but I can see very competitive players getting less salty this way which is...probably a good thing?
So, basically on the Hugs vs Colbol set, the second "ragequit" that Hugs did was because they'd been Neutral Starting the games and Colbol just forgot. And on the Manyula vs Phade set, he wasn't "waiting" for him, it was also a Neutral Start.

Worst ragequit I've seen was a grand finals between a Ness and a Bowser. Ness was winning 2-0 and on the third game Ness ragequit because he messed up on a combo in the beginning of the match.
I think the worst salt moment I've seen on youtube for Smash was a guy who got so pissed off he was asking his opponent to "step outside" after he got his ass kicked. Now I'm sure we all know what "step outside" means right? Like come on, no need.
