I got my first fue just over two years ago didn't use any medication although my hair loss was a slow progression it certainly happened and certainly the hair isn't that strong as it used to be just got an fut couple of weeks ago and definitely will not make that same mistake
Pliz - don’t encourage people to use finasteride easily. Not you or close ones but so many people including me have experienced so many side effects. And they even can be persistent. Advising NW1 without hairloss is far from being judicious.

100% ...the amount of people who disagree with me/us who don't have this experience is wild. I feel like I'm yelling into a void sometimes, haha.

I regret that the dermatologist did not give me finasteride sooner. Go for it
