I’ve lifted at the Mecca and it’s an incredible place. The Weekend that we lifted there we saw Dexter Jackson multiple times when he was preparing for the Arnold classic. Brings back a ton of memories! Crazy how they have the whole outside area in the front now. I need to make my way back there one of these days!

Hey Jay! I’m no body builder by any means, but I do have to say that I absolutely love lifting and keeping my body in shape. Back when I attended high school I weighed 145lbs. No more, and no less, and I was one of the strongest kids in my class for my age and weight. I benched 300lbs for my first real max! I still remain proud of that accomplishment. Since then, I’ve reached the age of 35, I have 4 kids with my absolute amazing wife and I still try to lift as much as I can between the Kroc center in Coeur d Alene Idaho as well as my own home which includes my wifes bow flex adjustable dumbbells. Moral of the story is, you have been a great inspiration and motivator for me to keep pushing to better not just my body, but who I am in general as a person. Thank you for continuing to do what you do and even know we have never met, I want you to know that you have my word that I will continue to follow you and support you in this life. I hope that one day I will have the honor and privilege to at least introduce myself in person and express my gratitude to you. Keep on keeping on jay🤙🏼🤘🏻

1985, I was 27, lifting in Gold's gym in Venice Beach, I noticed many stopping first at the Rose Cafe for Expresso, so at 27 I had my first caffeine buzz, never had a bad workout since.
The way Mr Cutler has that pause when training weights is unmistakable. I could only see him in magazines until the video tapes came out. My all time favourite, keep up the awesome work you do.
