When I'm waiting in the lobby I always practice my movement techniques since I'm pretty confident in my aim and movement technique can really save your life and make you get the most of your time. As a backliner main movement is important.

In my opinion, Splatoon 2 doesn't hold up as well anymore so no. Even though octo expansion is amazing I don't think it's worth paying more for the dlc just to play it.
Don’t buy. Octo expansion is easier than the story mode in any splatoon and the story is a disappointment. You’re better of just watching a no commentary long play on yt
