I just acquired an FX-1, used, but in like new condition. It’s a very nice bike, strong, lightweight, well-built. Rides nice, gears shift smoothly, fast tires and wheels. If I were buying this bike new, though? I think I’d either save some $$$ and find one with rim brakes, or spend more to get the FX-2 with hydraulic disc brakes. The mechanical disc brakes work well, but aren’t worth the extra money over rim brakes. Otherwise, a very nice bike (the red paint job looks cool), and even at full retail it’s a good value in today’s market.
Nice review. Funny how I bike to avoid de exact picture you showed of traffic. I live in Mexico City 5 minutes from that picture. I'm looking for a better bike for city, currently using an Orbea mountain bike
Aapnka budget kitna hai? Waise Scolarion ke bikes hain. Upar dono discontinued aap thik bol rahe ho. Scolarion ka drop bar bike hai single speed/fixie.

I am beginner in cycling, planing to buy hybrid bike for 100-150 km weekend ride . I had selected two bike which are available in store at my location i. e. Giant Escape 3 With V Brake @30000 & Trek Sub Cross 50 @40000 with Hydraulic disc brakes & 24 Gears. Please suggest with model is good to buy.
And also wheels and saddle. I do know that. I tell more about the details that people really care about when buying their bike. Handgrips usually aren't a part like that. But thanks for the suggestion nevertheless.
Nice to see a review on hybrids. I feel this segment is very underrated. These bikes are really versatile and comfortable.
Good job done in the video.
Yes bikeradar does road 70% MTB 30%. No hybrids. Thanks for the comment.
Great clear comparison. Thank you so much.
Thanks
Really useful summary of this series of bikes. Thanks!
Thanks.

Great bike. Any idea what is the widest tire you can fit on this bike? I was thinking of buying it and adding 42mm tires (fast rolling).
I have fit 40mm Continental Terra Speed, works perfect.
Which bike do you think is good for a beginner fx 2 disc or fix 3 disc? Which is the better bike to buy?
That is just a groupset difference and not a frame one. I would say fx3 disc if you can afford it.
