I really appreciate how the NG 109 has "Weekend Warrior" painted on its barrel
My old irl division. Was with the 'Victory' Division in DS/DS and at Ft. Stupid....er... I mean Ft Stewart, Georgia
The f15 WOLFHOUNDS was based in The Netherlands, its now hanging in an museum in ex-military airbase Soesterberg the same base where this f15 has flown from.
I thought i heard that the pilot that had flown this aircraft was an Topgun graduate

NG Fireteams in Bradley's are more dangerous than they look. They're cheap enough to bring three squads per minute. This deck is hilarious in how quickly you can have ATGMs absolutely everywhere
The thing I found with the SEAD F4 is that it is able to fire the Shrike from veeery close distances! Makes it super useful for stuff like Gepards/Shilka which gets activated in the last second (where other SEAD Airplanes like the MiG-25 wouldn't get a missile off
So sometimes when a player "anticipates" a turn by the SEAD Airplane, thinking it is too close to aim/hit anyway, the Shrike might still whack the AA unit lol
All the "this division sucks because of the Disheartened Trait" comments are COMPLETELY ignoring the huge amounts of Military Police units this division can bring compared to other divisions. :b
Good to see more Decks being added and this one is an interesting take on a NATO Spamstack.
This division is stronger then people think. The mix of good regular troops with tow2 and co and some cost efficient cheap NG units goes really well.
Yeah I agree, the NG units look bad but as soon as a MP and leader are involved the cost efficiency is great.

@@heven3941 Be active in the community and on the Discords and provide constructive feedback about the game. Then you might get selected whenever they want more people.
Truth is though they don't add new people very often at all.
IMO, So far. 24th INF is play a role of QRF Division that just for shore up the defense when Red tide come in. NGs with untrained aren't bother me that much because It have Its specific usages and to play support roles along with normal stuffs. It's going to be tricky Division to play for sure but It's not overall useless.
One think I have to criticize about 24th would be F-15E payload that so limited and constrained. Why not have at least 2-3 variants?: GPB, GBU and AT or else. and bump payload up a little more.
Seem like PACT Fanbase keep getting win recently but I understand the scenario that Red tide need to be menacing in first duration of conflict before Blue can strike back after things settle.
so basically, use this deck specifically for the strike jet, and cheap scouts
yeah none of the NG units seem worth it unless you want to do a quantity over quality build

the m150 recon is one of the most cost effective units in warno i would give them a try vulcan

Interesting no M60 in a National Guard Division
yeah really odd. listening to Red Storm Rising would have you expecting M60s in this division
Not a National Guard division. The 24th was a two-brigade regular army division with a NG roundout brigade. They were to go to Germany in wartime and had to have the best equipment, and the NG brigade had to have the same as the regular brigades to simplify logistics.
The military police units bring an M60 in the squads. 4:10

Yeah the N.G Stingers don't seem worth it. They do less damage per cost on average and thats not even considering the reservist trait.

You never actually put a Command unit into the deck. What would you have chosen and what would you have given up since you were at the limit point wise?
You don't need a command unit in the Logistics tab. The infantry leader and tank leaders fulfil the same roll
I really don't know what to make of this div. Aside all the NG stuff I see nothing new.
I really wish we could get a modern version of this game

These divisions will be free to anyone who purchases the game during Early Access.
This game is still in early access, so yes. (I think it also just mean this division will included in the base game when it is out of EA)
I don't see anyone bringing anything with NG in the name, except maybe the apache and M109 (maybe). Reservist is all well and good on a 14 man east german squad with enough health to sit there and tank and enough guns to do a modicum of damage even when stressed, but who in their right mind is going to get a 6 man squad with stats nerfed into the ground for 10 points less than its superior variant? And what's the point of having an abrams if it gets shot once and leaves? I feel like anyone playing this div will be better served playing 3rd.

Yea eugen has some hate bias against nato.
Unfortunately, i feel like this deck will suffer in most scenarios. The disheartened troops will definitely lose to most PACT infantry. The disheartened trait really causes the perfromance of units to be pretty bad.
They could've added the m777 with guided shells to the arty tab or even Javelin top down atgms
Javelin entered service in 1996 and M777 in 2005, so no, they couldn't.
Still the same sht with different camo, cant wait for broken arrow at this point
So what is the point in this div with most of the units have the garbage trait? NATO already get fucked enough due to the pact bias, and if your playing 2v2, 3v3 etc your going to lose all your trash units and the police unit as they will all be clustered up meaning your just get arty'd to death, or anything to death really.
There is no point. Eugen gets laughs at whomever uses this deck. It’s obviously the first D- tier deck, if that makes sense.
The point is that you get rid of the garbage trait with the copious amounts of MP you get which means you effectively have a bunch of decent infantry for cheap and with a shit ton of availability. Not exactly a difficult concept...
