Since it seems like alexa has the same functionalities as well? I'm considering to delete the kasa app now because my phone storage is running out😅
Thanks for the video tutorial. I liked it and i have tried the TP-Link Smart Pug and it worked out very well. This is much better and easier to configure than Sonoff switch. Again thanks for the good video.
Thanks. That dd the trick! TP Link should hire you cuz their site is useless as far as instruction/how-to vids. This video would help them sell a lot more products.
Incredible video very informative just what I was looking for but wanted to ask you a question can you set up the apps on two different devices as I have two phones one android one iPhone would appreciate it if you could answer my question please! Have a blessed day
Literally had this working, reset the plug, the issue I have is at 4:10 in you video - the Alexa app doesn’t forward me to tp-link and just says no devices found...
kas8970 I finally solved the problem by deleting the device from Alexa, doing a factory reset on the TP-link plug, then re-linking the device to Alexa. It took me a few hours to finally figure it out. Thank goodness for RUclips videos! Information from Kasa and from Amazon was worthless.
Hi there...love your videos....I’m trying to find out why my devices and lights double every day in my Alexa app...it drives me crazy. I delete one kitchen light and a few hours later...bam it’s back. When I say Alexa turn on kitchen she says you have more then one kitchen. I also have the Phillips skill enabled and the Phillips app....what are we doing wrong.....please please help. Customer service has not been able to help us...

I just bought the camera and smart plug Kasa tp link and it keeps saying unable to connect to home network I have reset my network twice and also the devices twice and still won’t connect my WiFi is working and it’s on the 2g network and also it shows the devices in the WiFi network and when I go to connect to the my network it says unable to connect to home network can you anyone help me

kas8970 did u create a kasa account also make sure your on 2.4 WiFi not 5ghz

Thanks for your instructions. I tried to conect other brands to Alexa but it was impossible. Alexa seems to like TP Link and it connected ok.

I had all my items set up but added a Tapo plug then four devices are unrecognizable. Can you help?
On my kasa app my mini smart plug will bot show up as an option so it wont connect can you help?

Not working for me. I have the HomeKit model it says works with Alexa but so far no luck
When you make a video get to the point of the video. Im 3 minutes in and nothing about setting up alexa with the smart plug.
Complains about a 5 minute video because he or she didn’t get any value out of the first 3 minutes lol.

Can Alexa do the timer function of the tp-link? like can you say to it " Alexa set a timer for the office lamp to turn off in 30 minutes"?
