Judy- Thanks for watching! I'm using a Jen-Ken 14" fiber kiln. I have a bottom layer of 1/8" fiber paper with kiln paper on to of that. You need to use kiln paper. I don't know if you really need the fiber paper. I use the fiber paper to protect the floor of my kiln. If you were to use just fiber paper the glass will catch on the fiber paper as it contracts causing sharp little points to form on the edges. Here is the schedule that I used: RA1 - Rate 350 - Final 1,200 - Hold 40 Minutes RA2 - Rate Full - Final 1,480 - Hold 30 Minutes RA3 - Rate Full - Final 900 - Hold 45 Minutes RA4 - Rate 150 - Final 700 - Hold 0 Minutes RA5 - Rate 0 - Final 0 - Hold 0 Minutes -Cheers!

@@stainedglasscuts2360 thanks so much for the schedule. I use kiln paper most of the time. Seldom do I fire on my prepared kiln shelf.
